Dude I somehow only stumbled upon your channel a few days ago and I am so grateful - you’ve dropped so many gems and I can’t wait to get to work and implement all of them !! Appreciate you bro !
Thank you for Sharing your honest experience and give the Producer Community the Business Tools to Profit of their craft 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I Just would add: First practice practice till your Beats/loops are worth it to sell , then your success Story will Work Out 💯💯💯
Solid video! Another game changer is a voice dm instead of text on IG. I've found the response rate goes up drastically,. Also they do if your IG has videos of you doing producer related things too and not just visualizers etc.
amazing video so far! what are your thoughts on reaching out to rappers and collecting their emails instead of just making a cold sale? do you think It would be more valuable to collect emails and then send beats?
you could for sure do that too! you could make a list of rappers you send beats to like i send loops to producers, some people gonna steal the beats for sure, but some people gonna come back to get the leases, just make sure you're being genuine and making relationships!
So many valuable gems in this video!! Greatly appreciate the insight and advice and the constant reminder for consistency!! Hope you won't mind clarifying when you email rappers, do you include disclaimers like beat is free for non-commercial use, please buy license if u upload to spotify, itunes, apple music etc. Will something like that deter them from using your beats or should you absolutely include this for copyright ownership reasons? thanks for always uploading these videos!! Looking forward to the next one!
Yoo this is insanely valuable man! Really inspiring and motivating the way you break things down, seems so much more reachable! Also good reminder to stay consistent, did the reaching out to 100 people a day for a while but got really demotivated after not seeing results and investing lots of time into it but yeah makes sense that only 2% is going to reply guess i need some patience with it and also start a little smaller maybe 😂 Many thanks man, really appreciate the tips 💜🙏🏻
Only you and HEATE have the best game for producers man super appreciated! Can you go thru the restults you gotten with manychat? Im about to go insane with that rnn
Well, I'm just now starting as a new rapper. I already rapped "privately in my last AVN" but my supporters are pushing me to go public. So, I'm in the process of doing that as a Political rapper. BUT, I'm POOR, so I will be learning to produce my own beats, music, etc. Basically, I'm going fully independent. One because I'll be rapping against the government, wealthy, both party sides, etc. So I seriously dought a major would offer me anything. Even if I was decent. But, I'm going to give your advice a shot and see what happens.
Do you have a video about everything needed legally to sell music/be an artist or producer before releasing anything to public. Like how to get biz setup properly
Brother I thank you I am not a producer, but my friend is, And he wants to get money. So I'll just outreach to him and these landing page shit ik Lets get it!
Hey bro I got a question: Should I send the same beats to many different people. What if two people decide to use it? Can the same beat be selled twice? Thanks in advancevman. You are a legend for helping us. 🔥🙌
Can't sell beats with all the rights to two people, BUT you could ask one of them what the person would change and change the beat up a bit (it will take 5 mins max) and you will have two different beats you'll sell. I just came up with that and I think this might be pretty smart, go try thia. Good luck!
the issue i ran into with searching send beats on twitter is that i don't see an option to listen to their music on the spot to see if your style fits. sometimes they have other links but you do have to a little digging. And have you guys ever tried to hire someone that handles that reaching out and just dedicate your time to producing. thats what i was thinking about doing because at the end of the day it is a sales business.
a question: do u send the same beat to more artists? and if one buys the exclusive one u just say to the other that he cannot get it anymore? good content btw, ur knowledge is very helpful :)
why not then? it is just like a some thing you sell on the internet platform. if you are selling, for example, a car, you can contact multiple people at once, ain't it? and if the car is sold, yet somebody keeps contacting you, you can just tell them, that a car is sold. so no problem with this at all, I think.
@@tommasocarnio7812 yes. and soon after this exclusive is sold to someone, you can just place the disclaimer, that the beat is sold. e. g. Anno Domini Beats are still having their beats uploaded here, even if the exclus are sold - they just write "SOLD" before the beat name and everyone is ok with it.
@@LeGaLdeadparliament but what if someone buys the 30 dollars mp3 version OR someone buys the exclusive 200 dollars version? what is the difference and how can we differentiate that? who owns it? what happens about the copyright stuff
I hope you see this KXVI but I want to try your Twitter method , how do you approach it? Send a straight up wav? Or a mp3? Or a link to listen to it? Thank u for the gems always
Yo! you explain everything really clearly! i just have a question. If i start posting "free" beats on youtube, so basically a beat and then in the description i say that you can buy the beat from me, how would i know someone didnt just download it and got away with it. its not like i can copyright only the beat right? like its not gonna detect anywhere is it?
hey man im really inspired by your story and I just want some clarity as far as where i can make loop kits and what marketplace can i sale them on. I clicked on your link but i didnt see where to go ass a seller only a consumer
For loop kits, should I arrange loops with multiple layers like you arrange loops with multiple layers for the producers you email, or should I put individual files for each stem in the loop.
i make scorey, Polo G, toosii type Beat like those Pain Beats. But i don't find relative small artists that fit this vibe. Should i just ask any rappers don't matter what genre and if not how do i find rappers that fit my genre?
Big thing he missed is when you sell your beat. Make sure you set a percentage you want of the song when it’s posted with your beat. Get your credit where it’s due. I mean I’d rather make 10 bucks every month. Than sell my beat for 10 bucks one time.
bruh 100 new ppl gunna take longer than 2hrs i think, dming 100 would prolly take 2hrs, finding them is another 3hrs.. But these ppl most likely will come back for more beats so i get the idea
@@prodkxvi thanks bro...will check it out. I made a full hard drive of beats and instrumental music but still searching for the best way to get it all out there and approach this as a business.
The question is : why should those people be buying your beats, loops or whatever if they get the same stuff for free on the regular from you? The only thing I can think of is if they pop off and need the exclusives (if you not already giving out your free beats as that) or (but let’s be real) just human generosity in like „he gives me free stuff all the time, let’s buy one thing“ but in todays day in age I don’t think that’s very likely. What am I missing?
Not trying to be rude, but nobody cares about loops and shit. Your followers are listeners and NOT producers. What you actually want is attribution. Publish your tracks with a royalty free license, allow other content-makers (vloggers) use your music in the videos with provided attribution (e.g. in the description). Done. The rest is what you said - the more people will see it, the more will use it, the more will attribute it.

What is the difference between a "beat" and a "loop"?
loop is the melody by itself, a beat is the full beat - drums and loops (melodies) put together
