It needs more displacement. Honda, if you can hear me, please redesign the engine and make it a true 300cc machine at the very least! (Do keep it single-cylinder though; thumper sportbikes are rad.) Yamaha, Kawasaki, and KTM all have you beat regarding engine size; are you just gonna take that sitting down??
Does anyone know when or even if we're getting a redesigned CBR300R? I'd kinda prefer to get one more in line with their bigger brothers. Oh, and thanks, Honda Pro Kevin. The Honda autism is actually pretty greatly appreciated. *thumbs up emoji*
A brotha I used to work with had the budget (girl edition) Mustang with the small motor. When asked about the engine he would say chicks don’t know anything about engines.
C´mon Honda, make a CBR250R with 4 cylinders like the new Kawasaki ZX-25R 250cc inline 4 cylinder and bring it to Europe and USA. We need that bike in our markets 👍 THAT 300 SUCKS.
Sadly, I don't think we'll see that happen any time soon. As a longtime CBR fanboy and owner of multiple models over the years, I want that to happen as I'd be buying one ASAP lol! If they won't give us a 4 cylinder variant, at least give us the CBR250RR! I wouldn't say it sucks, it's just not what some of us think of when we hear CBR. Not everyone wants to spend $6,000+ on "just a 250-300" as some people say and for those that don't want to push a bike to the edge, this thing is perfect ;) . That's not to say we don't need a smaller displacement supersport bike for those of us that would enjoy it and gladly pay good money, if it's done right. We can only hope though and with the way manufacturers are headed now with not really pushing the envelope on engine technology because of electric models and the push towards them, we may never see something special like a four cylinder 250 out of Honda again. Thanks for posting!
lol 100%! Some of their new releases have hit delays because of the rona situation messing everything up but we'll be finding out very soon (couple months) on what their plans are for 2022. I don't have any blips on the radar to really make me say it's definitely getting its refresh this year over next year but we're still a few months out from its announcement date so we've got some time for things to change. It's still a great bike at the end of the day, as long as you go into it with the right expectations. Could it be better? Ohhhh yes! I do feel sorry for them though, slightly lol. It's a fine line to walk with this bike on trying to give it more but keep the price down and then you still won't make the guys like us happy that want a true 250-300 supersport bike out of them and don't mind paying a premium if done right. Compared to those that are searching for something like this and don't care about what suspension it has or how many cylinders or how high it revs etc. They just want something cheap that looks like a sportbike. It'd be nice if the market was strong enough for them to build two variations, say a CBR300R and it be the budget bike and then the CBR300RR that has everything us go fast geeks want lol. Similar to the CBR600RR and CBR650R, one is built to more of a budget and the other one (was) the cream of the crop. Sorry for rambling on man, I could talk bike crap all day! Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it...

I will definitely consider to buy it when it get released in India because I don't need to spend a single penny for it 🤪
How tall you gotta be to ride one these can a 5’0 person ride one these or no
That's going to be a difficult one but depending on your inseam, you might be able to side saddle it when you come to a stop. As much as I hate to say it, in my opinion, unless you lower it, you might not be able to ride one but swing by your local dealer and check one out to see how she feels ;)
Actual review starts well over the two minute mark. Nearly clicked off the video because of this
I think you are better off with the Ninja 400.

It looks like its from 2005..
Its time for a facelift
Does anyone know when or even if we're getting a redesigned CBR300R? I'd kinda prefer to get one more in line with their bigger brothers.
Oh, and thanks, Honda Pro Kevin. The Honda autism is actually pretty greatly appreciated. *thumbs up emoji*
Agreed. Would like to know what's up with that. Hope it's not discontinued..
A brotha I used to work with had the budget (girl edition) Mustang with the small motor.
When asked about the engine he would say chicks don’t know anything about engines.
Nice
Oh by tbe way on a good day..the bike will do 96 mph...use high test....vp race fuel makes a nice additive..
Top speed
286cc will killl you all the same.. this bike handles well and is a great commuter..

C´mon Honda, make a CBR250R with 4 cylinders like the new Kawasaki ZX-25R 250cc inline 4 cylinder and bring it to Europe and USA. We need that bike in our markets 👍
THAT 300 SUCKS.
Thanks for posting!
either way. they're cheap. Ans i wanna get them
let's hope Honda can get with the times and compete against there competition for 2022. Update this slow pig! lol great video as always btw
Its made to be efficient stupid
@@usernotfound904 If your on a motorcycle it's already fuel efficient stupid
@@busboy3232 typical Cultists response, read a book Dumas
@@robbuck8242 Why so upset it's a 300cc single? Relax my dude.
Looks really stupid with only 1 headlight lit. My CBR250R looks 1000X's better.
I want it, but that single lit headlight is a deal breaker.
Different strokes for different folks ;)
I've grown to like it over the years but the funniest part is how many times you're told by people "hey, you have a headlight out" lol!
comment go brrrrr
Extremely outdated
It could definitely use a complete refresh for 2022!
