Those hieroglyphics are not mushrooms, its a drum set….the Egyptians were avid Led Zeppelin fans.
Makes more sense
For reference, the name of the mycologist from Detroit that Paul mentioned was Kilindi Iyi. He was a lifelong Martial Artist and Mycologist and expert in African Martial arts and folk medicine. He was a good man and he's dearly missed. I appreciate Paul for giving him a shout-out.
yo thanks for pointing that out, i’ve seen a couple of his lectures on youtube about MASSIVE doses of mushrooms, crazy trip reports
@@ErikGarcia07 His lectures regarding super high doses of mushrooms were really enlightening. They're how I found out about Kilindi. RIP IYI
@@PsychoMantis08 RIP to that brave soul
The BOOM part was a great ending. lol
I literally told my wife that the blue juice from Dune, reminds me of psilocybin blue juice right as we were exiting the theater. 😅 LOL
That Hieroglyph is where they got the idea for the step brothers scene, "Don't touch my drumset!"
I’m a pyschonaut. I wanted to understand why we see the geometric patterns after a heroic dose. Found the scholarly articles about rods and cones in our eyes… Anyway, I look at the patterns in religious institutions architecture - ancient cultures patterns… etc etc etc. yeaaaaaahhhhhh
Not everyone sees the geometry stuff. My friends always told me stories about shit they hallucinated like dinosaurs or wolves or something, and I was just seeing the geometry like you. It seems to be your underlying mind as well.
I've seen those shapes and colors without being under the influence. And I've seen them after heroic doses. Those geometric shapes must already be part of our imaginative system, but drugs can reach those parts of our brains and trigger them
@richardb8104 I'm pretty sure everyone sees the geometry if they take enough of a dose, or if they just take it enough times. And I have had the same experiences! Going into religious buildings like churches, and looking up at the colors and patterns and being like "damn, this is wayyyy too close to psychedelic imagery to be unrelated"
@@jackerwillyits especially so with LSD
@Matthew-qq9nx I haven't really had super crazy visuals on acid cause I haven't had enough, but my visions on dmt have been suuuper similar to those geometrical patterns and colors in religious architecture.
It’s funny to think we can’t read these hieroglyphs on these pyramids, etc., but we sent a golden record into space expecting aliens to be able to understand its meaning!
I don't know what was on it, but binary is probably the only thing that is actually universal. If you didn't know, the ancient Egyptians used binary as their number system (we use base 10). But that's besides the point. Any alien civilization with any sort of space technology, would be able to recognize binary if it was a long enough strings of 1's and 0's. I'd find it hard to believe that computers could be based on any other technology than digital circuits (which use boolean (true/false aka binary) operations to solve problems). Obviously we have quantum computing now, but as far as I'm aware, it still uses binary, just somehow using superposition, the bits can be a 1 or a 0 at the same time, or something like that.
We can read hieroglyphs due to the Rosetta Stone, luckily. These are just pictures.
The voyager record does have a key based on the hydrogen atom. That's the single most abundant, base atom. It's mathematical and while being difficult its something an advanced species with developed reasoning could figure out.
Imagine if we found one from space. I'd imagine the entire world would be working on the puzzle. What a cool thing that would be.
The African-American Paul Stamets mentioned was Kilindi Iyi
Dune part 2 was such a great movie
Love the FUNGI❤
Excellent!
Whats with the end 🤣
mushroom tek...lemon juice..turns blue...
The Aztecs called psilocibin 'the fruits of the gods' and believed it was a divine gift from Quetzcoatl (their God) as a way of receiving divine communion.
There's less substantial evidence, some seen here, that suggests that many ancient cultures had similar experiences and practices with psychedelics. Often from magic mushrooms, or its even speculated ergot fungi, in the case of Plato and the Elusinian Mysteries
*"the flesh of the gods"
What is it about druggies that so badly "needs" everybody else to join them in one big haze? I remember this from 7th grade, and it's never changed a bit....
Funny 😂
Not 100% sure but did he just say make a mushroom tea and add some honey and live to make the eclair of life?
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuune
Last 30 seconds was rather random.
It's a clip from another video. I thought the same thing haha
It's, annoyingly, at the end of all the clips this guy posts lately.
Kinda funny tho
Hey yall 🎉
🙏🏿

This is the guy that wouldnt talk about the side effects of the Portobello mushroom and will die before he says anything about it. I would also like to make tea from both of those combined and try it.
It “blue” him away 🎉
What?
This is why you need Katt Williams on speed dial!
So what?
Isn't it the go-to obsession for archaeologists to assume everything is a phallus? These are clearly all ancient carvings of dongs.
Is this flints dad?
Kind of reminds of that 70’s show where they drew the pot leaf on the water tower…… lmao were supposed to be the more advanced people tho yet they used paint which will fade and the Egyptians carved it into stone… we ain’t advanced at all lol we’re getting dumber smh

Good grief. I just think scholars and scientist who do drugs want it so badly to be a part of their department of study and history.
Why don't you try before you form an opinion, there's historically hundreds of civilizations that used psilocybin, and much literature on the study of it, it's only considered a drug because your government considers it one, you're no less ignorant than anyone else
I don't know why they try to associate ancient people and drugs so much. Obviously some people in every society are getting fucked up, but they are looking for any signs the drugs were mainstream.
I mean do you know about these "drugs" profound ability to expand your consciousness?
@@kylansewell Oh stfu. It’s all chemicals in the brain, it’s not doing jack 💩. I’ve both done them and heard many interviews of people doing them as well as friends. People get a crazy high from it and they come out of it like it’s some life changing event. It’s not. You just tweaked your brain for a bit and it was fun. Smart people recognize it for that, while dumb people go on this and up spiritual journey, keep doing it, and noticeably get more dumb over the years.
Drug is something that has been chemically altered. Mushrooms are NOT drugs. Psychoactive, yes. Drug, no!
Beardy wants a penioe helmet to licky.
Thats not a mushroom, its Pharaoh 's penile helmet.
So they had a version of Buddhism?
The common denominator is the Lotus 🪷 🪷 🪷
The mushroom is the gateway or doorway.
Alchemy is certainly involved.
Sounds like some messed up pre-Christian, know thy self, spiritual journey.
The interesting part is the characters you encounter.
Don't do it.
Buddah had blue eyes
