Yes this is so pretty! I thought of a scarf instantly too... love the 'open areas' so nice. I haven't done the first stitch (YO\K2TOG) at all... love practicing new stitches. When I can do something new; just to prove that I can do it, is a great feeling
I think it would make a nice bolo jacket for summer in the office -- when the air conditioning is blasting away and just a little something keep you from shivering.
Hi Denise, Another awesome video and a great looking stitch. I haven't done the K2TOG and YO much. Can't wait to try and make a scarf. Thanks for sharing. :)
Hi Denise, thought I would finally try this pattern for ends on a scarf. I read the pattern and watched the video (completely) and finally figured out that the written pattern is off by one stitch on every row. EX: row 2: written as P3, K, P but should be P2,K,P. Every row was off by one like row 2. What a relief to finally figure it out. Thought you might like to know so you can adjust your pattern on line. I love your patterns and stitches and am trying to make them all but get stuck on doing a few favorites for most patterns. Hugs and love to you, Peggy
Do you think this would look good on wider gauge on the adjustable loom or Kifty Knitter loom? Do you start with the YO on the first peg or do a couple of K stitches for an edge?
I can be done on a KK but the stitches are not as defined on a larger gauge. Here is a post on how I start and end all my stitch patterns: www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
Hello thank you for the videos... i have a question ..if in row 2 i (Purl 2 knit 1 purl 1) does this mean if i continue doing that i will (purl 2 knit 1 purl 3 ) ???? sorry if it sounds stupid am a beginner :(
e-Wrap - I start and end all my stitch patterns the same way - but cast on and off depends on the project and not so much the stitch: www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
On this particular video - the KB AHL - But I use many different looms on projects- on the post there is a supply list : www.loomahat.com/open-weave-stitch/
Juanita - thanks for asking but I don't do much work on long looms - very few people have them - trying to cover a lot of ground with very little available time. Hope you understand ...
When doing this for a hat would the row sequence still be the same? The direction of the stitches wouldn’t matter as long I do each row as the directions say? I hope that makes sense. This is such a pretty pattern, would make a great hat. Thanks
If you like the video please consider sharing it and purchasing a pattern - it helps a lot 💛 Thank YOU: loomahat.store/products/open-weave-stitch
Ohhh, love this very much. I'm totally into open weave or lacy, drop stitch patterns. This is a must do for me. Wonderful, concise video as usual!

Stick around Toni - more stitches to come!
This is so pretty. Great for a summer time table runner and maybe placemats :)

YEP - I think so too !
moving all your loops at the beginning of each yo/k2tog row really helps you keep track of where you are - a visual reminder of what's what. :)
Lord knows I can ALWAYS use visual reminders :)
Great video tutorial, as always! LOVED the background music!
Thank you! 😘

THANK YOU Peggy !!!!!!!!!!
Lol, i just read your suggestion for placemats or a runner 😊
This would be an awesome placemat or scarf
Oh yes - look forward to a scarf - had not thought of a placemat - did consider a table runner

Can you tell me how to mark my pegs?
Do you suggest a small gauge or normal gauge (if use my KK brand) ? :)
This stitch will not show up as nicely with a large gauge.
Not sure if anyone will respond, but every time I go to do the second K2T/YO, it's a purl and it will NOT budge from it's peg. Any advice?
oh...and how many stitches/what stitch multiples does this require? thanks.
Multiple of 4 plus edges: www.loomahat.com/open-weave-stitch/
Hello thank you for the videos... i have a question ..if in row 2 i (Purl 2 knit 1 purl 1) does this mean if i continue doing that i will (purl 2 knit 1 purl 3 ) ???? sorry if it sounds stupid am a beginner :(
No - First you purl 2 pegs then knit 1 peg and then purl 1 peg - This stitch is a bit advanced - I don't really recommend it for beginners.
oh what cast on did you use?

How do you steam block and for what reason?
Hi Arleen - here is my favorite steam block video: ruclips.net/video/xWyOk1a8fyY/видео.html
do you slip or skip the first stitch
Hi Juanita - yes I do - here is a helpful post and video: www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
What loom do you use?

Can you please please make a video where you can show us how to join an infinity scarf on a long loom.

Hi Diane - I haven't worked this pattern for a while but I believe it does not translate exactly the same, flat as in the round
