    Great guide, thank you!
    Not sure if anybody else has commented this, but you can get life-boats very easily using dungeoneering tokens in Priff.
    I’ve done the minigames for ages, and only got one life boat until I found out about this a week ago.
    To cheese this, do ports daily events to max all the common rewards (including crew/captain/voyage re-rolls), and pop over to the Dungeoneering lad close to the Max Garden in Priff.
    He sells Port Enchanters for 50K tokens, which I believe have 5 charges each (so 10K dung tokens per charge).
    One charge provide a random port event reward, but it cannot give you any reward you have maxed.
    As such, I bought one token, got a life-boat as the rest were maxed, popped over to my port to equip the lifeboat on a ship, then teleported back to Priff to claim another token. Repeat for each ship, easy peasy and well worth the tokens!

    My main has all missions done, all building/upgrades, and all scrolls unlocked. It has taken me YEARS to get to this point. I still learned things from this video, thank you. You mentioned getting to the shield region within two months of starting ports. Idk how, that seems impossible to me. How many voyages do you do a day at higher tiers? I personally treat ports like a daily but I suppose it could be possible to do up to 8 voyages a day in the shield for instance.

    • @jasper_72
      @jasper_72  Год назад

      Glad it still helped! I'm barely now at juat under 2 complete scrolls before completing all, lol.
      In the shield it's harder to pull off so many voyages, I think your time zone makes a big difference at that point and how you time voyages around daily reset. For example, daily reset for me has been at 4-7pm depending on time zone and daylight savings. I'd send out 4 ships at reset, and in the morning they're back and I can send out 4 more.
      I was super efficiencyscape with it in the early voyages getting to the shield and made sure to do the max possible voyages every day lol.

      Yeah, 5 each of Morale, Combat, and Seafaring is always the best start to a new crew in a new region. The other crew types like Solidarity and Merchant units are only really beneficial once you have a solid base crew so you can cover a wide range of voyages.

    @Stan_in_Shelton_WA Год назад

    Traits, how do I change crew traits? and captain traits? Is there any use for the random visiting captains? I find there are often 4 star difficulty voyages that I just can't get enough points to have a high enough success percentage. I am sure that the 3 questions are part of the fix. I try to always have 85% minimum on all my voyages sent out.

    • @jasper_72
      @jasper_72  Год назад

      Crew traits you're stuck with, can't change them. Captain traits you can only remove with the Memory's special voyage, after her 3 clue Voyages are successful.
      Once you have the captains you want, there isn't really a use for the rotating captains.
      And depending on the region, some Voyages are just hard. I have maxed crew in the shield and I can only get 85%+ success rate on the 240 resource voyages, or the 360 if I don't use a merchant.

    I am currently in the pincers region and I nearly have 6 story voyages completed for all adventures. Do I need to do something special to get trio missions? Or will they happen naturally as I continue to make my way to the shield region?

    • @jasper_72
      @jasper_72  Год назад

      They'll happen naturally/randomly as long as you have all 6 story Voyages for each Adventurer involved completed.
      The way it works is that if any 2 of the Adventurers involved in a trio voyage are in your port on the same day, you'll get the trio voyage. So it's just luck, but you can help it a bit by building at the spots that improve chances to attract specific adventurers.

    • @jasper_72
      @jasper_72  Год назад +1

      He has high Seafaring for some reason compared to other stats, but it's because they're the best Solidarity unit and give +125 to ALL ship stats per unique crew member you have on a voyage, including captain.
      So best case if you have a voyage with your captain, the exile, a trader, 1 combat, 1 morale, 1 seafaring, all ship stats get 125 x 6 = 750. Times 3 ship stats that's a total bonus of 2250.
      If you have a voyage that only needs 2 stats, you still get 125 x 5 = 625, times the 2 stats is a boost 1250.
      Also, he has really high speed that shaves like 3 hrs off each standard voyage in the Shield.

      My crew member with the highest base stats is a Kharidian Exile with 4,750 plus speed of 1700 (huge time saver). I have 4 of them. I send some missions with 3 plus 1 moral and 1 combat crew for my highest possible success.

      Mune, the Wilderness version. There are different Munes for each region of Achievement Diary tasks (think its still called that). You're able to see Mune for a region once you've completed all the tasks for it (Wilderness tasks in this case), and to unlock the pet you have to get lucky and find Mune walking around in that region lol.

    I don't understand the point of playing that "mini-game" is a another game inside runescape, if i want to play another one, i simple go to steam and go play, sea of thieves...
    Ppl saying that the reward of this mini-game is good? Are u sure? Maybe with the same time u could do something more fun around the game.

      Yes and no. If I want a FULL blown pirate/ship management game, I agree, I'll check out Steam. But this is just one of many side games within RS (player Owned Farm, Miscellania, Anachronia/Dream of Iaia, etc etc). It's just the nature of RS.
      The reason I like this is that it takes 5-15 minutes of investment per day. I'd say T88 weapons & some tank armor for effectively "free" is great, and passive money from making scrimshaws and soups is a good plus.
      Also takes longer to unlock, but things like the Exile and Tengu's clue Voyages have some good rewards for Dungeoneering & Ports resources

      What a strange take to have.
      Anything you do within a game is part of the game. There’s no such thing as ‘a game inside another game’. Not only that but it takes like 2 minutes of effort to do daily.
      Yes it takes a long time but that’s why it’s mostly passive… so you can do other things while achieving the rewards from ports… it’s seriously like some people don’t even WANT to play the game to achieve anything.

    This game has so much bloat they could just remove and no one would notice.
