i know im asking randomly but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
JCB is a true legend in his horological accomplishments. What he may not realize, is when he speaks, he is a horological poet. I love listening to him, and the passion with which he discusses all things horology.
Great interview. As someone who's also seen all the JCB material/interviews online, I appreciate that Wei did his HW - that contributed new insights from JCB as opposed to just mostly a rehash.
Biver is just an incredible man. Every interview with him is essential viewing. Passionate, intelligent and always absolute common sense , but before anyone else.
Wei Koh you did your homework going into this interview which certainly elevated it. It's just incredible how energetic Monsieur Biver is both in conversation and about discussing his and the industry's future. Hard to believe he is in his 70s.
I LOVE this man!!!!! I can listen to him for hours and hours....enlightening Love Wei's publication's ...I work at the company that prints his titles in England and look forward to each new edition... I find both men inspiring
Biver, is truly a living legend in the watch industry. I have seen many interviews and again and again he introduced so many ideas to improve each brand he has worked with!
Thanks WK for a great chat with JCB! Never seen a bad interview with JCB, but I think u brought a different aspect to watches. So good you asked and we got his health update!
im 2:25 inn and I already clicked like - JCB you are a cool dude.... I knew already, but now im having a Bro-mance moment with you here.... you are a lovely Bohemian .... and a role model for everyone ... no matter what walk of life.... be driven by love and passion !!! and a big thanks to you Wei Koh for starting the year off with such a treat ..... I hope you can make a new videos with Tim Mosso and Ronald K. that would be top ✌🏻 then your will be my favorite Singaporean 😁hehe
Liked this one in less than 5 minutes! Always great to hear stories from the legend himself. Him and a team of people need to buy Universal Geneve and bring that brand back to life.
Been an honour just watching this interview. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and knowledge on horology. Watching this interview made me see the passion and love you have for horology. Would love to see you around on RUclips a bit more. I loved every bit of this interview. Your lively, funny and you sound like I can sit all day listening to you.
wow, a completely new brand from JCB would be a blast! great man, great knowledge, unparalleled experience and passion about this industry. looking forward for it to happen!
Very rarely an interview can make me emotional, two inspiring men i would love to know Wei’s story if there as an interview out there someone please do share.
Thanks 🙏 Yes-man “wei-koh “ for this interview. JC Biver, a legacy is an example of a man 👨🏼 who followed his passion & money 💰 followed him, not the other way around. I’m sure there’ll be more examples like him in the coming generations who’ll keep the mechanical watch industry revved up.
Looking good Wei, keep up the workouts....hope to meet you some day in Switzerland or wherever, and hope i dont show how lacking in knowledge compared to you if so..........thx for the heartfelt opening with Mr Beaver . Cheers. ME
Very good video, yes they put all the complications into one watch but is the most expensive watch in 1980. Now it would be even more impressive is if a watch with all those complications would be a low price. That's why each complication is separated by models.
Not just an Industry Titan but a Titan of the salesmans trade. I know I’ve been more successful in my own sales by using his simple rules of passion and marketing. Such a great guy. And I believe him not being motivated by money. I saw a Swiss show following him from when he was with Hublot, he drove a horrible Chrysler minivan. Not a Bentley, not a Mercedes, not even an Audi. A horrible Chrysler minivan. The man is the real deal.
JCB has impeccable sense of design and style. He had to in order to succeed in that industry. I’d suspect a sleek 911 was tucked away in his garage somewhere! Most watch lovers love cars too! 🤗
Oh yah , had small e mail exchange wit your Sophie in Switzerland .......flattered with her giving me the time of day....yr friend Tim Musso is grrrrrreeeeat
Would be more fun if you ask some daring and negative questions to Mr. Biver to get a real exciting conversation about the industry. Biver interviews are always too fanboy and the man can take hard questions.
Very though question...Two watches... Nicolas Hayek of Swatch Group sometimes had 4-5 watches. Maybe...just maybe...some people LOVE watches, above average ??
IMO..this guy had a negative impact on Zenith. At least Dufour and Nataf did not try to place zenith below hublot. Zenith has so much more history and prestige than hublot. I am VERY happy with what he did to Blancpain...just not happy with what he did with Zenith.
I think he means the positioning of Zenith in the "watch hierarchy" generally... Though JCB did revive it, the level it ended up at seems like it underachieved a bit ... That said, I'm actually glad because it means Zenith is more accessible and representative of incredible value now 😄
Zenith was in a slow 'death spiral', lack of innovation, lack of a clearly defined 'slogan' / direction, sales halting. Now they can't meet the demand, and they have a clear slogan, 'future of tradition!' In business it is not a negative thing with growing sales numbers, actually getting the head above water. You can choose to see this as negative if you like, it's a free world. Zenith has more history and prestige, they are a old traditional brand vs the 'funky' newcomer Hublot. Biver Place Hublot above Zenith when it comes specifically to pricepoint, but thats little to do with history/prestige , got to do with materials used and so on and so on, the brands also operates in 2 different categories. Rolls Royce is probably the most prestige car out there with the long history of the brand, but a Formula 1 car is more expencive to build and purchase, out of technical reasons, while not bringing Rolls Royce 'down' in in prestige..It will still be more prestige to come to the Country Club in Rolls than a Formula 1 car I bet:)
Rimrock300 agree. I suppose I should clarify I meant "watch price hierarchy". I personally still prefer Zenith and that's because of the heritage... And hence I said I'm glad, as it seems better value as it stands 😄
Man ! This guy made me laugh out loud!!!! When he said I'm not an Ayatollah!!!! Sadly! that Ayatollahs are among your best customers and you're selling them watches like crazy, and do you know why Mr beever?! Because when money talks, bullshit walks. Keep knocking that table!
Is it even a JCB interview if he's not knocking on the table every other minute? Love it
i know im asking randomly but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account??

"To win a marathon, you must have a guy that's behind you" spot on!!
I have total respect for this man
As do we!
What a classy guy. He represents the epitome of passion for his craft.
Wei Koh you did your homework going into this interview which certainly elevated it. It's just incredible how energetic Monsieur Biver is both in conversation and about discussing his and the industry's future. Hard to believe he is in his 70s.
Lovely interview and insight Wei, how can one not be inspired by a man like Mr Biver. He is a visionary and that is so transparent you can feel it.
I LOVE this man!!!!! I can listen to him for hours and hours....enlightening
Love Wei's publication's ...I work at the company that prints his titles in England and look forward to each new edition...
I find both men inspiring
Wow! What a great interview.
Good Questions and Biver is such a nice guy and down to earth person. 👍
Love this interview. You can tell he just speaks from his mind. Love it. Thanks for this interview
Biver, is truly a living legend in the watch industry. I have seen many interviews and again and again he introduced so many ideas to improve each brand he has worked with!

JCB is an inspiration, one of your best interviews. Well done Wei.

Amazing Interview 😍👍👍👍
Great interview. The information applies to so much in life👍🏻
The legendary JCB, always generous
I would suggest creating a series of conferences by JCB. I would fly to anywhere in the world to listen to him.
Great interview Wei!
JCB: This that and that
Chinise man: Yes yes
12:50 When JCB starts pounding on the table that's when I know that I didn't spend my time watching it for nothing 😀

YES
This was such a great interview.
JCB a CEO with amazing perspective. Thanks

Great interview Wei. I really admire your interviews!
New definition to the term "yes men."
JCB is a giant amongst giants
Genius!
Congratulations on a great interview 👌

JCB is a top man!!!
I want to see a brand which is called J C Biver
IGNore previous statement , keyboard messed up and i can’t type worth anything.........great finish at interview
More to come!
Mr yes I lost counting at 268 and that was ten minutes in.
Why didnt anyone ask why wei wore two watches. Yes ?
Very though question...Two watches... Nicolas Hayek of Swatch Group sometimes had 4-5 watches. Maybe...just maybe...some people LOVE watches, above average ??
Should we start a new trend? Multiwatching. 2 on the left hand, 3 on the right and a couple on your ankle. Maybe one around the neck.
Why is he wearing two watches?
Order full interview, i jut finished
Just finished, well wound up

Watch Aficionado fair 🙌
Wouldn’t you say Zenith was seeing some troubled days before he came into the picture?

Hmm. I get the feeling this interviewer thinks he knows more about JCB...than JCB!
but does he like anime
Wei needs to speak slower. He’s a gentleman but his eloquence is quite off putting.
I would love to hear JC yet the host is so irritating like the cheap rail on chrono a dial.
Swatch is still putting watches in kid's wrists!
"I didn't make that much money". Yeah right lol 🤔
double wristing
The TAG Heuer Fragment watch on one hand, and the Hublot Aerofusion Chronograph “Molon Labe” 😅
Man ! This guy made me laugh out loud!!!! When he said I'm not an Ayatollah!!!!
