  • This antique Ships Binnicle came from the Royal Yacht Victoria Albert, built in 1843. The ship was later re-named Her Majesty’s Yacht Osborne.     I love Maritime Artefacts (and train actually) , it makes a beautiful decoration Piece, and from a Royal Ship , that's amazing!

    Now that's a nice bit of digging! Scoring the binnacle and compass from a ship whose engraving is sitting in the shop! Whale oil lantern, or ye olde parrafin? Off the Osbourne, heh. Do your research, people! (It's the fun part anyway. Once you know what it is and the story ....time to move it along.) Wish I had some decking about.
