This is starting to happen monthly with most devices in my household, I think its an issue with spectrum to be honest

@tavencreager2037 I was using custom network settings. I cleared them back to automatic and then restarted Mt xbox. Now it's fixed

My Xbox one x never had issues until the recent update it just had. I tried this and it told me to verify the connection. It brings up a page and it tells me the page will close once I am connected. Now this works for a very limited time once I do it. Then I’m back to square one. I’m fucking frustrated and I’m about to just smash my Xbox. I have never had issues with internet connectivity until this last software update.

I need help. My Xbox one is not connecting to Microsoft Xbox live. It says it’s connected but will not sign in to the Xbox. Keeps looping back to the sign in screen. It's the same for me I just bought a new wifi card and replaced it with the old one and it worked

I had to go to link you had to figure out what else I could do to connect to my WiFi and finally figured out , thank you. Also wanted to let you know when you go to network settings the “ forget wireless network “ does not show up if you are not connected to the internet in the first place just an fyi. Thank you so much for the link had been offline for days following a power outage.
What did you do to solve the problem I had a power outage today and when I go to set up a wireless network nothing shows up even when I put the ssid turning it off and the dns thing didn’t work either

Mine was working fine for ages, always had it connected via ethernet. It then stopped working so I tried everything from resetting the router and xbox, to going onto wireless. It keeps flashing between 'getting Nat type info - all services are fine' and 'these services are unavailable' I'm about 2 seconds away from throwing this thing out the window

My Xbox is saying additional authentication need to connect to my Wi-Fi and all i need for my wifi is the password it gives my 2 options authenticate now and enter alternate MAC address

maybe it helps - ran into the same issue last night - even thou everything worked just fine the days and weeks before.
first u ll check if everything set properly with ur hotspot - password - encryption - visible. so u can see the hotspot on ur xbox, after discovery. it should work on 2.4 and 5GHZ
then u ll go to the networksettings - new wireless connection - then u r xbox will check which wireless connections are available. after that connect to the hotspot - use ur password
now: if u ll get that UPnU message - even that ur connected to ur hotspot u ll get no internet connection whatsoever!
this is what i did on my xbox -> go to the advanced settings and go to ip settings -> press automatic , same thing with DNS settings -> automatic (i havent done it, but if that isnt working out for u - u might do this with the mac settings aswell, but i hadnt do that in my case !)
if u set everything to auto, got new IP and DNS settings - u ll get the connection okay/set up button . to be sure - run a connection/speedtest (down below the wireless setup) and u should get the proper testresult.

Also!! I just tried something random and it worked for me! All the same issues but I decided to hit go offline. It stayed on a loading screen so I restarted the console. Once it restarted it’ll give you the option to go back online. Hit that and everything went back to normal
No videos help with my hotspot, not connecting it was connected at one point and then I turned off my Xbox went back on like an hour later, and it hasn’t been able to connect since

the only thing that helps me with my series s when this issue happens is typing the password in until it finally decides to take it, restarting the xbox in between 5 or more tries. hope it helps man

Method 2 Worked!
So, I got this problem:
Yesterday my internet went briefly off for a bit of rain, but nothing much, as always returned and every device in the home re-connected, but not my xbox.
Additionally, this happened as I was turning on my Xbox, as it took quite some seconds to turn on.
Afterward, my situation is this:
- It can see my (wireless) internet/router
- doesn't accept the password, over and over, even after trying to change the router's password
I tried everything, even contact the Microsoft service but nothing, mostly because they don't answere.
I'll try see what to do, but as of now my Xbox don't even connect to the internet at all for... reasons

Just tried this on my xbox series S n says "hardware problem". Been without internet for about a week now n thought it was my service, but called spectrum n they said that my internet is fine. @superb-ryce9242 got a hold of Microsoft and they did a test, come to find out its a hardware problem. Have to send it in for they're services. Unfortunately. 😢

@superb-ryce9242 sadly if u want to find out if u can get it fixed cheap. It's a free call to Microsoft. They can run tests for free n can fix it for u through they're system or they'll tell u what's wrong with it n it'll have to be sent in for repairs by their technicians.

Problem I’m having is somehow for some reason I restarted my router and Xbox. Nothing. I looked at the time at top right which was completely wrong and the date was December 2019 I have no idea why it’s showing these times

@@xDuskMoon u wouldn’t believe it bro. I forgot network and everything and still couldn’t connect trying to re enter it. All I had to do the entire time was turn the power switch plugged in the plug socket off and on and somehow it worked. Try that
