@@VaporTrailChannel yeah that's not gonna do it here in Pittsburgh. I guess I'll have to save up for an Apollo scooter. they seem to be the only game in town going for that good IP66 rating. I plan for this to be my ride to work and around town if need be
@@berengerchristy6256 oh my! Yup, for commuting there, especially if you’re using it daily with moisture / rain / etc, you want the highest rating possible. Keep in mind that if you do ride in those conditions, you’ll need to do a lot of maintenance. It’s not just about the waterproofing of the battery and electronics. Bearings, bolts, displays…all of that can be affected by those conditions. You don’t want to be rolling at 20+mph and have a failure. Stay safe, wear a helmet, and enjoy! I love what I see of those Apollos, so I’m a little jelly 😜

Yes, and I was going up and down hills, as well as riding in wind. As a 195lb rider, I was able to get around 18-20 miles. Hope that helps ya!
