napakagaling naman nilang ikembot ang kanilang mga balakang! pero kahit ano pa man proud ako sa mga kalahi naming mga austronesian! proud to be austronesian! mabuhay ang philippines
I hate when people say oh she is white why is she dancing that culture first of all some of us island girls may look white but in our blood we are not white at all we are different so people who says that check your slefs and open up your eyes I look white with green eyes I don't have white in me I'm from guam full islander so shhh 🌴🌺
+Daniella Quidachay I hope people don't ask questions like that. The halau I joined back in gradeschool didn't discriminate against race and taught any and all people who wanted to learn to dance and enjoy their wonderful culture.
This is childish. Also the white ancestors did influence the Polynesian culture, or what does the people think where the Ukulele is from and how the techniques from the white did influence all the improvements. The computers, Television, MP3 .... from the Germans other from people from the USA. All used techniques which give you time and possibility to improve your culture are from the white people, and only from the white people. Such ignorant people should be ashamed because they want nothing give back.
@BabyGirlGoddess its not really that hard..just move your body in a circular motion but for your fa'arapu it has to be fast. but you have to try to keep your feet together when you shake and try not to move your upper body. that is what creates thee illusion of it looking soo easy to do, but in reality its pretty intense. hope this helps.(:
waaaauuu muii lindo se mueven super felicidades muchachas jeje cualquiera que quiera consejos de las danzas polinecias mandeme los mensajes con sus dudas para resolverlas como dudas de estilos de danza el habla con manos los bailes el lenguaje etc asi que ya saben mandenme sus dudas con mucho gusto las resolvere bueno bye !!!
@bigotrysux work out, lol. i used to do that when i was in middle school and haven't since then. whew! it worked out my thighs and abs. a lot of fast hip circulations. it's easy and practice=).
Her hip ban fell off, if you look closely on the floor in the back you can see it. She's a professional because she still kept dancing... the only time you'd stop dancing is if your top or your pareo would fall off...good on her
very good dancing but my my that drum beat jes dont match the rythm, have u 's listened to Rarotongan drumming, it has depth and leans towards deep base. put that together with your style baby ur my hula gurlzs all the way to the bank.
there is nothing more attractive than this. i respect who ever can do this.

This is Hitia O te Ra from Garden Grove Ca.
MY MOTHRS DANCE
Hawaiians are from Hawaii and Tahitians are from Tahiti. There dance styles are totally different and so is the language.
This is really fucking cool, and the drums are ba.
Hitia O Te Ra from Garden Grove, Ca
@BEPfan1998 the hip movements mainly come from the movements of your legs and (for lack of a better word) the tightening of your butt.
luv the headdresses! i do ba
this was so good!!! what song is the one of this video?! love it!
haha im taking tahitian classes! lols these gurls are good

I just realized the lady in the back on the right doesn't have the the thing on her hips o.o lol (:
What is the difference between Hawaiians and Tahitians?
This is what i do right now in age 11
how in the heck do you move your hips like that!?!??!
It's to protect them from the aliens...yup,yup!!!
I've seen this exact dance being practiced by Corrinne, but good job tho...
WOA DESE R FRENCH PEOPLE??!!!
ehat grouo is this .?
can someone please teach my wife to do that?
:D
then do something about it then=) Join a tahitian dance group or a halau...it will never happen if you just complain^^ Practice makes champs!
pocoyo
I hope you guys know you don't shake your hip or whatever. It's actually the movement of their legs.....
You do shake your hips
I don't think you do m8
+BlackRaptor Gaming™ You do shake your hips but its all in the legs
I'm a Tahitian dancer and trust me it's all 100% hips. Your legs just naturally do that when you're pushing to move your hips so intensely
I do Tahitian and it is 100% my hips doing the work the legs just go along with it
Really mature... this is a TRADITIONAL dance, why would they [sexually] exploit it?
@x715x sorry shes not white shes peruvian..
Her hip ban fell off, if you look closely on the floor in the back you can see it. She's a professional because she still kept dancing... the only time you'd stop dancing is if your top or your pareo would fall off...good on her
