Now this is how you make an EAS scenario both engaging and entertaining. Most of these big creators just use NOAA radio and alerts, walls of text, and fake, bland radio bits that only tell you what you hear in the alerts. But this has not just weather radio, but weather graphics, radar screens that update accurately in real time, interesting radio banter between hosts, and a wide variety of POV scenes so you really feel like you experience the scenario, not just listen to it. Excellent scenario, and it might be my favorite one outside of Carolina Chaos. I’m definitely going to check out more of your work after I watch this again!

Fantastic work! It's actually a relief and a pleasant surprise, to have things end on a positive note (with regards to recovery); it's frequently implied that it's a long way off, and most often left at the most grim stage of recovery, so even just seeing the towers come back online is a heartwarming departure from what I usually see. I can tell you put in a lot of work for this, and it's very well-done!
The reality that this can actually happen scares me, I don't want an EF5 to core my little house that can barely withstand a cat 4 hurricane, but here I am, living in Florida with no cares.
What an outbreak of tornadoes, some being rain wrapped and violent and strong and longed track impact on Florida including Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, Melbourne, and other Cities. What an environment favorable day for tornadoes in Florida on this Scenario. Great EAS Scenario. Keep up the great work on the EAS Scenarios.

My name is Rikki (a resident originally from Claremont, NC; now living in Omaha, NE since July 2023) and (in the nearly 10 years that I have advocated for captioning) I have not been expecting to cover this super-storm. We have witnessed one of the costliest distasters since Hurricane Ian of 2022. The people from Studio Marie (based in New Saigon) have been sent to the affected cities and have since concluded that this was rated an A6 (Category 6 of the hypothetical Poynter-Le Oscillating Wind Scale (PLOWS)) (contrary to what some media outlets would have reported after this outbreak). While we do appreciate the work that the surveyors have performed, this may become another one of those where it is not rated properly. Look at the Mayfield outbreak. It was rated an EF4 of all the things. El Reno... Got snubbed there by getting an EF3... I do not want to say the surveyors are wrong. All of us have committed errors at least once. I only want to point out that the EF scale needs work. I have researched the amazing work of the Japanese meteorologist who created the concept of the scale, Tetsuya (or Ted) Fujita (藤田 哲也). It is important to recognize his accomplishments that led us all the way here. I hope that the state of Florida is able to return from this mess, but I may also think nature will just take back the land that we have consumed before then... As I now return home, I will not forget the Floridians and all their achievements that have been yanked by the outbreak. I will see you all later."
Me: *watches the video* Video at 1:28 : *shows my county/area is at a high risk for severe tornadoes* Me: *giggles* "I'm in danger!" *NEAR THE END* Me: "The Native Americans protected us once again!" *does the Nelson Muntz laugh* In all seriousness though, this gave me absolute *CHILLS*. Being a Florida native and resident, I cannot imagine myself being in this scenario. You did an amazing job with this and you deserve a salute from me 🫡
While the town i live in (Venice) isn't the first one to be wiped off the map.... just kidding this is really well done. You've really captured the real Metorological background that it would take to form an outbreak like this: El Nino winter, high shear, relatively low cape. IMO (I've been studying severe weather for over 15 years at this point) this is exactly how an outbreak of this magnitude would most likely transpire. Very Reminiscent of the 1998 Kissimmee Tornado Outbreak or '07 Groundhog Day outbreaks that hit Central FL. While those were both nighttime outbreaks, a scenario like this isn't exactly out of the realm of possibility at all; and like in the cutaway where the fictional Fox 67 anchor looses his mind, he actually says something really true: This state is not prepared for tornadoes at all. It's never been hit like that, and it is possible in the future. My only critique: Your DI maps are a bit too large in the west coast storms: for example the Venice tornado's path would be like 20 miles wide in reality. Very, very well done!
The sad part is, you're 100% correct in how this is not out of the realm of possibility. Florida is still part of the Southeastern United States after all and just smack outside of Dixie Alley. Florida gets a surprising amount of supercells and tornadoes than people realize. Twisters in Florida also tend to be photogenic and quick moving. A lot of cells occur out in the coastal portions as well and people just sit and watch the water tornado slide on by.
very late comment but this is one of the best scenarios out there i fear........ and im not saying that cuz just ur my friend and all but the scenario itself is just very entertaining and like... keeps you hooked all throughout the video yk? i also love all the screens and the little subplots, overall very very very awesome scenario! keep this up and you'll definitely go places! im excited to see what else you have in the future :]
All I could say is, excellent work. I’m not even halfway while writing this comment and this is a pretty good scenario. Some screens could use some polishing, but above all, awesome job, man!
My only major beefs with this Scenerio is that most of Florida doesn't have an "underground" or tornado/emergency sirens. I could pick it apart more but I'll leave it at that.
@JustDante I thought the idea was to be realistic, not have a "make your own world" world but whatev... I had to quit halfway through... too unrealistic and not matching real conditions..
@@neonhomer it’s not meant to be entirely realistic lol…that’s what I mean by “eas scenario world.” if you expected it to be so overly realistic, I’m sorry
if you got that environment in Florida, that’s exactly what would happen. The way the scenario went had to be done a little unrealistic to make it more entertaining, like look at other scenarios and they’re never gonna be realistic. I understand FL doesn’t have *many* underground or sirens, or any of that other stuff. But nonetheless, just made for entertainment.
@JustDante I understand the environmental conditions and made up... that's the whole point of an EAS Scenerio. I was referring more to the details of the locations such as no basements/undergrounds (in the traditional sense). That and most Florida cities do not have tornado/emergency sirens. I have other nitpicks but they are exactly that, nitpicks that don't really matter except to me.
"If there was a large, violent tornado, then why does it look perfect outside" Ask those in Joplin how that situation feels, that's all I gotta say on that comment About 1/3rd of the way through, awesome scenario so far Edit: Typing Error Fixes, and I've watched all the way through
I'm in the UK, and one of those EAS tones - the lowish frequency, rapidly repeating beep - sounds almost exacly like the ringer for my intercom doorbell.
Definitely one of my favorites. I like the inclusion of other things beside the actual EAS tones, because when you have two hours of straight EAS tones, it gets annoying fast. All sorts of news channels and radio channels and much more. Also, an entire sounding? I have never seen somebody put a sounding in these. Did you use a sounding from sometime else that was similar to this scenario, or from a different place entirely, or just a completely made up one?
Ummmm a lot of houses in Florida don’t have a basement due to the fact that we don’t have regular dirt, we have sand…Florida was originally swamp land at first..but I guess I’ll find the basement in my minds 👁️😂😂 Great scenario playout! Edit: The guys arguing over the tornado is ✨Priceless✨😂😂😂
Since I live in Florida I must say this is a masterpiece and is a perfect recreation if one ever happened although Florida isn't common for tornado sirens other than that It Is Absolutely Perfect And Amazing
1:27:04 Rikki: "You must think that those are a pair of weaklings after you CLEARLY heard that 'above-ground shelters will NOT protect you from the tornado.' I am telling you: even this house-based station will get swept away. You hear me... IT. WILL. NOT. STAND. A. CHANCE. AGAINST. THIS. TWISTER. Wake up and get your tail underground. It is only a house. Precious belongings can be replaced, but lives cannot. Now I must get down before the twister arrives." It was the time I made this dialogue to add variety to the scenario...
I know I'm late. But this scenario is really good and very realistic which I like. I would love to see a scenario similar to this but with my home state of South Carolina. There aren't many Tornado EAS Scenarios out there that mainly focus on SC anyway.
Wow..an EF-3 Tornado in my hometown of Kissimmee. If that ever happened in reality, me and my family would all be dead..Great scenario👍! On a more serious note, with this heatwave and high heat index and high humidity here in Florida we’re having now(8/11),this scenario could possibly become reality..Let’s hope not….
Very Good Job on this But if u do plan on making more eas scenarios Of Severe Weather Outbreaks u should use NOAA Weather Radios Alert Tones (idea) and When the NWS Issues (PDS) Watches they Don't really go into Detail about it being a Particularly Dangerous Situation when the send them through Radios But Yeah Very Good Job
I'll shut up 😂 I only the First alert so I take back the NOAA weather alerts BUT GOOD JOB 😅 and Good Job on a Meteoroglical Stand point Alot of creators of scenarios don't Do when they make Weather Related ones And U should do one for Central IN would share and Recommend

Congrats on 1K views dude. This scenario really blew up and I hope it continues to do so.
This is amazing! This hard work definitely needs more attention. Amazing work!
21:27 "We've never had a tornado outbreak so there it'll never happen." Oh the stupidity.
I watched the whole thing. And I love it.
I wanted to cry at the end bcuz I was really enjoying this story…but not everything lasts.
This was amazing
I appreciate all the different graphics, especially the ones from the news stations. Nice work 👍
Me: *watches the video*
Video at 1:28 : *shows my county/area is at a high risk for severe tornadoes*
Me: *giggles* "I'm in danger!"
*NEAR THE END*
Me: "The Native Americans protected us once again!" *does the Nelson Muntz laugh*
In all seriousness though, this gave me absolute *CHILLS*. Being a Florida native and resident, I cannot imagine myself being in this scenario. You did an amazing job with this and you deserve a salute from me 🫡
turns out this year in fl tornado alley decided to take a vacation.. im moving back to nj.
A lot of cells occur out in the coastal portions as well and people just sit and watch the water tornado slide on by.
very late comment but this is one of the best scenarios out there i fear........ and im not saying that cuz just ur my friend and all but the scenario itself is just very entertaining and like... keeps you hooked all throughout the video yk? i also love all the screens and the little subplots, overall very very very awesome scenario! keep this up and you'll definitely go places! im excited to see what else you have in the future :]
also i love how you somehow incorporated DATAMOSH out of all things in a tornado scenario😭
And We Were Close To this Being reality in in Feb 1998 It was A moderate risk I believe
And it happened in the middle of the night
This is incredible work.
All I could say is, excellent work. I’m not even halfway while writing this comment and this is a pretty good scenario.
Some screens could use some polishing, but above all, awesome job, man!
I like how you played the 71st OST Undertale at the end of the video
The "Loser" sound from Price Is Right.
55:14 is there links to this siren
43:39 Do you have the link for this sound?
1:01:55 Do you have the link for this siren?
Dude your video is blowing UP right now! Soon, you’ll be at 10k views in no time.
My only major beefs with this Scenerio is that most of Florida doesn't have an "underground" or tornado/emergency sirens. I could pick it apart more but I'll leave it at that.
eas scenario world. everything exists
27:10 bro these guys arguing is funny asf
"If there was a large, violent tornado, then why does it look perfect outside"
Ask those in Joplin how that situation feels, that's all I gotta say on that comment
About 1/3rd of the way through, awesome scenario so far
Edit: Typing Error Fixes, and I've watched all the way through
#JohnPetersisajerk
Mother nature was really like "Ok, screw every major city in Florida. Wipe them off the face of the map. In one day."
Fun Fact - This would get a score of 87 and be classed as a “devastating” outbreak on the Outbreak Intensity score if it happened IRL.
This was amazing great job
HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING! Good job Dante!
I'm in the UK, and one of those EAS tones - the lowish frequency, rapidly repeating beep - sounds almost exacly like the ringer for my intercom doorbell.
Bro can predict the future
Definitely one of my favorites. I like the inclusion of other things beside the actual EAS tones, because when you have two hours of straight EAS tones, it gets annoying fast. All sorts of news channels and radio channels and much more. Also, an entire sounding? I have never seen somebody put a sounding in these. Did you use a sounding from sometime else that was similar to this scenario, or from a different place entirely, or just a completely made up one?
Did use a real sounding but modified it to enlarge the hodograph and have stronger low-level shear using sharppy
@@JustDante Great Idea to put that in there. I look forward to more scenarios.
@@JustDantedo you have the link for the "Eagleized's siren synth

14:59 Feel free to laugh at me for reading "Dade City" as "DORK City".
Zephyrills instead of Zephyrhills 😂
52:10
For those wondering, and correct me if I’m wrong, but it was Kissimmee, Florida.
Bro predicted early 2024
Ummmm a lot of houses in Florida don’t have a basement due to the fact that we don’t have regular dirt, we have sand…Florida was originally swamp land at first..but I guess I’ll find the basement in my minds 👁️😂😂
Great scenario playout!
Edit: The guys arguing over the tornado is ✨Priceless✨😂😂😂
37:38 Do you have the link for the siren combo
54:20 So, just a quick question if anyone sees this. The locations here do include Orlando Intl. Airport, but NOT Orlando Sanford?
Poor John, He dies in the car cause by tornado. I hope he's okay. :(
37:42 Do you have the link(s) for both sirens?
Since I live in Florida I must say this is a masterpiece and is a perfect recreation if one ever happened although Florida isn't common for tornado sirens other than that It Is Absolutely Perfect And Amazing
amazing scenario and keep up with the great work
1:10
That ain’t Katie Simmons, that’s Kevin Simmons.
The calming music while orlando is being murderd killed me
1:27:04 Rikki: "You must think that those are a pair of weaklings after you CLEARLY heard that 'above-ground shelters will NOT protect you from the tornado.' I am telling you: even this house-based station will get swept away. You hear me... IT. WILL. NOT. STAND. A. CHANCE. AGAINST. THIS. TWISTER. Wake up and get your tail underground. It is only a house. Precious belongings can be replaced, but lives cannot. Now I must get down before the twister arrives."
It was the time I made this dialogue to add variety to the scenario...
I know I'm late. But this scenario is really good and very realistic which I like. I would love to see a scenario similar to this but with my home state of South Carolina. There aren't many Tornado EAS Scenarios out there that mainly focus on SC anyway.
Damn, Katie Simmons got that voice like Ron Simmons.
Amazing scenario! And congrats on 400 subs!
the spc outlook looked very clean
David Reutimann lives in Florida.
33:34 Sounds So Good the sirens
Wow..an EF-3 Tornado in my hometown of Kissimmee. If that ever happened in reality, me and my family would all be dead..Great scenario👍! On a more serious note, with this heatwave and high heat index and high humidity here in Florida we’re having now(8/11),this scenario could possibly become reality..Let’s hope not….
i believe kissimmee was hit by the largest tornado in states history in feb of 1998 f4 or f3 not sure exactly
1:29:02 is just crazy I think someone prolly hijacked the tv or something cuz it just said rdy to die 💀
I never heard a tornado hit parts of Florida before. I watch storm stories and it was talking about Kissimmee tornado at nighttime.
Great job!! I am doing EAS again!
Rest of Florida Getting Destroyed
Ocala:
Ocala: ...sh!t
How do u do this cuz it’s awesome 👏
Tbh
This would be terrifying o_o
52:19 The National Weather service should change the voice pitch to sound like this lol
I go to Anna Maria for the beach every year, seeing this makes me think a waterspout will hit us
Better quality scenarios than some of the big shots. Wow
This boutta age well
This scenario wastes no time getting right into the meat of it. And that meat is very well done. Great job!
As a Tampa local this would freak me out if it ever happens 😂
How did you find the Paul voice?
27:25 funny arguing lol
You can tell it’s Sirius when Siri joins the chat
i gotta feel bad for john tho, ik he was ignorant and stupid but he died so, i mean its just sad
And Yes I Forgot some NWS Offices go past the 2 min limit in Higher End Days My NWS Office in Indianapolis doesn't
Tbh you should do more EAS Scenarios like these, but instead of tornadoes, do it with hail threats.
