You should do a Derecho scenario for Tucson Metro Area as I'm from there and would love to see one EDIT: In the PDS SVR at 10:40, it said "you are in a life-threatening situation" it's not supposed to say that until the winds are at least 90 mph because that would equal the speeds of an EF1. EDIT 2: I feel like it would be cool if you made an EAS Scenario where a derecho interrupted the Taylor Swift Eras Tour and then everyone has to evacuate to somewhere else.
@@JustDante I wasn’t present, I moved to Corpus Christi, my father was on his way to work that morning, he saw a wall of black and the sky looked like a freaking light show with all the lightning
If a storm like this happens down near louisiana it would be so moisture saturated it would literally completely block out the sun and turn it to midnight
I live in Saint Cloud Minnesota. A few years back we had a Derecho come through the area (I headed to the basement of the house I was living in at the time). I lost power for two days. I could see it coming on radar.
We had a derecho storm here last year last summer inOhio and it was three storms were huge back to back right after the other it was scary as heck because we never knew when the storms were gonna end
I remember that. It was terrifying. Me and my dad had gone out for a drive and we stopped to go get gas, and I felt like we were trapped in some sort of cage with how it surrounded us. I could just see lightning on the outside walls of the storm. It was horrifying and kinda like standing in the eye of a hurricane.
Nice work. The first two SVRs would not cover Brazos. Brazos is northwest from Hempstead and west of Madison, and therefore would be in the clear. The shaded area also seems to encompass slivers of Chambers and Liberty.
Yeah Derechos our horrible I heard they have massive hail And extreme wind gusts Some even say there is powerful as a category 3/4 hurricane And if I saw that shelf cloud coming I would be extremely terrified
An Extreme Wind Warning is only for hurricane. And also The Extreme Wind Warning is only issued in association with major hurricanes. The criteria for an Extreme Wind Warning is sustained surface winds of 115 mph or greater while the High Wind Warning criteria is 40 mph or greater.

I just finished my 1 hour and 3 minute scenario and I’m tired af 😅 btw awesome scenario!
Also when the nws in mobile issues an alert for the counties in Florida they do not say “ the panhandle of Florida” they say in Northwestern Florida.
I live in the panhandle near Port St Joe
This feels like a realistic event, which is very uncharacteristic for an EAS scenario. But that's why I like it. Very well done.
Realistic...because holy fuck did it happen.
This would seriously devestate lafayette and get my old house, and my personal weather station would most likely pick up a wind gust up above 100 mph
This is amazing work man! i suggest using 1050hz since the attention tone uses higher.

Houston AL in the House! I got mentioned and involved. Thank you.
You should do a scenario set in Central Illinois.

Used to live in St Martin Mississippi from mid 2001-2006. Katrina ruined it for me in 2005. Currently in Dothan Alabama.

Next one should be a large tornadic /wind system that hits South Carolina North Carolina and Virginia
19:45 lake Arthur, I just realized, it’s actually on a lake, a meteo tsunami could of happened there due to this lol
A land based hurricane.

32:23 Would a derecho have Extreme Wind warnings?
i dont think so since it might be too high of a threshold but ive seen HWWs issued far ahead of derechos
