🐌 loved this video 🐌 I had to unhaul a lot of books in the recent past and was pretty ruthless - may now be regretting a handful of those decisions! However I find your criteria for unhauling really helpful so now only keep books to be reread, books that are part of a series I love, and ‘special’ books (bit of a catch all generic category!).
🐌 Loved this unhaul, it's so interesting to hear your thoughts as you go through them. Very much enjoyed the wiggling cat tail causing mischief behind you too! xx
Love that you're so good at getting rid of books you enjoyed if you're just not going to read them again, I need to be better about that. Some really interesting books here, I've had my eye on The List and Our Wives Under the Sea for a while!
Love seeing such a big unhaul and your shelves must be thankful for it! I did read the list already and I really liked it! But Leanne's is definitely the nuanced review, I really liked hearing her view on it as well. I was very disappointed by 19 claws and a blackbird as well, I actually DNFed it.
I love your unhauls because you tell us that you love the books, but know you won't read them again, so you have somewhere or someone in mind for them to be passed onto 💜 I unhaul as I go, so if I loved it and know I will reread, it stays, otherwise it goes on either the 'sell to the secondhand book shop' or 'charity shop' piles I'm currently reading Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries. I'm liking it, but unsure yet if it's a keeper 🐌
Thanks so much for mentioning my review! I had to sit with my thoughts on The List for quite a while to figure out how I felt. It's such a shame because there were portions of the book which I thought were outstanding and brilliant, but I just couldn't get past how to core subject matter was handled
Love the cover of Verge 💚 I'm planning on going through my shelves soon, I do unhaul as I go but every now & then I like to go through my older books to see if I still vibe with them 🐌
🐌🐌🐌 I had to donate most of my books when I down sized to a very small home. It was very cathartic, though I had to remove all sentimentality & be very brutal 😢. But I started buying hardbacks of books I really enjoyed, so basically I’m beginning to get back to where I started 🤣🤣. I just can’t resist all the gorgeous covers on many of them. Especially anything Jane Austen! Loved seeing all your reads, thanks for sharing 🐌🐌🐌🐌
I only keep books I love. At the end of the month they either: go on my read shelf, to my mum, Ziffit/charity shop/free library. I tend to look at my TBR shelves every 2 months. I find a lot of the charity shop purchases, tend to go back to the charity shop.
Love an unhaul🐌 I’m planning a big one soon and I know that my sentimental side is going to want to keep but my practical side is going to want to get rid of so many😂
You are so cute and humble, I love the measurements of your books all of them are in the same size, I am working on my building project of having more english books this year as I don't have this much but until I reached this year goal, I am happy what I've got so far because books in my country are so expensive to have.
I unhaul on a monthly basis when it comes to my read books. When the month is over I decide which books are going back on the shelves and which books I can bring to a little free library or sell online on Vinted. Most of the time I keep my 4 and 5 stars and everything else leaves the house. However, if it's a part of a series that I gave 3 starst to, I will keep it for the moment and when I've finished the complete series I will decide if I want to keep the whole series or not. With my unread books, I'll go through them every once in a while and see what I have lost interest in. I'm not great at that because there's always that voice in the back of my head saying: but what if you''ll love that book?!
🐌 I struggle to unhaul unless I really didn’t like the book. When I was younger I gave away a lot of books and then found myself wishing I still had them later on.
🐌 I have the same rule, if I don't think I will re-read the book, I will unhaul it. I don't need to unhaul a lot of books because my general rule is just buy books I've already read and love 😊
I'm not an unhaul video person as sometimes they can be negative but yours wasn't. I really enjoyed it. As for Death of a bookseller. I read it, liked it but it totally wasn't what I was expecting. Maybe I thought it was going to be a traditional murder mystery. No one told me that but my brain went south.😊 Thank you again. Love the cat who walks across your bookshelves, they really seem to be in charge don't they?
Thank you! I try to keep things positive around here ☺️ Given the title, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have expected Death of a Bookseller to be a murder mystery and it certainly takes an interesting turn! And yes, Savannah is chief chaos creator in this house! Thanks for watching! ☺️💛
🐌 I unhaul near enough every book I read. I don’t have enough space to keep hold of books, especially as I’m a fairly quick reader. I also don’t often reread books, so I’d rather other people benefit from them.
Another great video thank you! I am interested to know how you decide which books are re-reads for you. I tend to keep most of my books but to be fair I am reading a lot of e- books at the moment (due to recent hand surgery). I also borrow lots of library books. I have recently found your channel and am really enjoying watching all your content, you are easy to listen too and very articulate 🐌
Gosh, thank you! And it’s rather unscientific but it’s usually just a feeling that tells me if I’ll reread it? I can usually tell from the first read if I’ll go back ☺️ I hope your recovery goes well and thanks so much for watching! ☺️💛
I can only imagine how hard this must’ve been - decisions were made!! bookish joy is on its way to so many lucky people ♥️🐌
Thank you! ☺️💛

The risk of regret is definitely there but I find the ‘am I going to reread this?’ question does help! Thanks for watching! ☺️💛
🐌 Loved this unhaul, it's so interesting to hear your thoughts as you go through them. Very much enjoyed the wiggling cat tail causing mischief behind you too! xx
She is such a pain sometimes 😂 and thanks - I do love a good clear out! ☺️💛
Love that you're so good at getting rid of books you enjoyed if you're just not going to read them again, I need to be better about that. Some really interesting books here, I've had my eye on The List and Our Wives Under the Sea for a while!
I think you’d like both of those ☺️💛
🐌 Love Unhaul! Need to go through my books now …
Haha; good luck! ☺️💛

Amazing! I’m so impressed with your unhauling! I leave them for a while and see if I’ve reached for it again and then decide! 🐌
That’s a really good way to do it! ☺️💛

I'm currently reading Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries. I'm liking it, but unsure yet if it's a keeper 🐌
Thank you! And yes, I generally unhaul as I go as it feels much more manageable that way! ☺️💛
Thanks so much for mentioning my review! I had to sit with my thoughts on The List for quite a while to figure out how I felt. It's such a shame because there were portions of the book which I thought were outstanding and brilliant, but I just couldn't get past how to core subject matter was handled
You definitely articulated what I couldn’t, I thought it was a fab review! ☺️💛
Love the cover of Verge 💚 I'm planning on going through my shelves soon, I do unhaul as I go but every now & then I like to go through my older books to see if I still vibe with them 🐌
Same, sometimes it’s good to double check! Thanks for watching ☺️💛
This has made me want to do a huge unhaul haha it’s always so lovely to make some more space on your shelves haha😊
Yes, we love a clear out! ☺️💛

That sounds similar to my system and with the amount of books we read, you have to have a plan! ☺️💛
Wow such a brutal one, so good for you especially before a move! That's the perfect time to go in deep and be very intentional about what to keep 😁
Thank you! I feel like there is another big one coming before we actually move…! 👀☺️💛
So many great books being unhauled. Great cameo 🐈⬛
Thank you! ☺️💛
Phew! That felt good! I'm hopeless at unhauling. 🐌
Thank you! ☺️💛
Love an unhaul🐌 I’m planning a big one soon and I know that my sentimental side is going to want to keep but my practical side is going to want to get rid of so many😂
It is hard but it’s always good once it’s done ☺️💛
Wow what an unhaul! Well done! 🩵🩵🩵
Thanks! It’s always super satisfying once it’s done! ☺️💛

Thank you! ☺️💛
I tend to unhaul the majority of books I read, unless I am a 100% sure I will reread it. Lovely unhaul 🐌
Thank you! ☺️💛
The staff and students at your school are very lucky indeed!
Thank you! ☺️💛

These days, I unhaul as I go. I just recently got an embosser for the books I keep 🐌❤
I saw that and I want one!! ☺️💛
💛🐈⬛ Harry likes to climb into plastic bags too! 🙄🐈
Cats are so weird! 😂☺️💛
🐌 I struggle to unhaul unless I really didn’t like the book. When I was younger I gave away a lot of books and then found myself wishing I still had them later on.
Yes, it can be a difficult one! And it’s not something everyone needs or wants to do, which is totally fine ☺️ thanks for watching! ☺️💛
If I feel I’ll reread the book, it keeps living on my bookshelf 🐌📖🥰
☺️☺️☺️

You can do it! ☺️💛

🐌. I keep a lot of my favorites, I pass on liked but not a keeper. I love books, I am trying to pass them on, but I have a hard time doing it.
It can be tough to pass them on but I like to imagine them having a good future in someone else’s hands ☺️💛
🐌🥰 keep books I love… donate ones I don’t… sell some if I can 💕
That sounds like a good balance! Thanks for watching! ☺️💛
🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌
💛💛💛
Enjoy this video 📚💞📚…… 🐌
Thank you! ☺️💛
If I am going to re-read it I keep it but other than that I say bye bye. Too many books otherwise 🐌❤
