Really enjoying your vlogs Victoria! So pleased to hear that Jack is ok now, having four cats myself I don't know who suffers the most trauma!! Good luck with your house-hunting too! 📚🐱🗻
Yay! I also love lore olympus and I hope you enjoy the second volume when you get to it. The art is beautiful. Surprised you enjoyed learned by heart but ultimately glad you enjoyed it more than me! I really need to crack on with reading bitter as well.
⛰ Thanks as always! 🙂 I'm intrigued by 'Horrorstor' and 'The Cloisters' so they've gone onto my Wish List. Wishing you all the best over what sounds like the rather intense month ahead. I prescribe lots of self care! 🤗
I'm so glad you enjoyed your gift and I'm looking forward to see what you think and if I should add it to my list! Just a thank you, I've been having a really tough time lately and watching your videos has really helped take me out of my reality for a while ❤
I love how many little getaways you go on! ⛰️ Loved your video with Chloe - I would like to visit Worcester. Good luck with the house hunting, it's not the nicest thing to have to do, but it will be worth it in the end. The Hobbit has been on my TBR for aaaages! 😂
Great vlog as always. Can't wait to see you dressed as Mary Poppins, she's my favourite character - I have the tattoo to prove it lol! Very excited about the bookmarks 🏔 x
🏔️ Lovely video as always. Will be very interested to hear what you think of The Things We DonTo Our Friends - I’ve got it coming up as an audiobook on BorrowBox in a week. I was particularly interested in your travels this month; I went to uni in Worcester and your stay later in the month was right in the middle of my neighbourhood (I know the pub and the second hand shop very well!) so that was lovely to see. Good luck with the house hunting.
I’m so glad you enjoyed The Hobbit! I used to teach that book in middle school. I also HATED that Riley Sager book. It started off so well and it was intriguing until it became so unhinged. The ending was ridiculous. Oh well. I’m sure you might know this, but LOTR is not really a trilogy. It was written as one book but the publisher thought it was too long and no one would give it a chance. Since the book was divided into six sections, called books, to help structure the story it was published in three volumes. In Tolkien’s mind it is one story. I think it makes a difference when reading it to view it as one epic story rather than as a trilogy. Just some thoughts.
Oh, I didn’t know that about LOTR, thank you! That’s really helpful and now I know more of what to expect ☺️ I love that idea of teaching The Hobbit! And I’m glad it wasn’t just me that hated the Sager 😂 Thank you! ☺️💛
⛰️ 🏔 🌄 looked like a very busy month! Glad to see Jack on the mend! I was looking forward to seeing what you thought of The family experiment I loved it sped thru it. Good luck with the house hunting, moving is so stressful!
HAPPY SUNDAY! LOVED this video as usual. Looks like you did lots of lovely things which are so well deserved amongst all the stressful things. So glad you enjoyed The Hobbit!
The things we do to our friends sounds interesting ... looking forward to hearing what you think of it (which might be apparent by the end of this video im not far in ... but good gravy that roast looks gooooood! Learned by heart does sound good ... but ... you know?? It's Emma Donoghue and ive always been on the fence or disappointed. I cant wait for the perfect family, I need to read the marriage act this month I think. I haven't read any Erin Kelly but I do not need any new authors as im REALLY trying to prioritise books I already own. I totally forgot that I had already watched the Worcester vlog and I thought I was having really clear Dejavu! Love the spoiler review haha Your weekends away always look so beautiful! xx
Yeah, it kind of was! But I enjoyed the completely unhinged ending of Behind Her Eyes, maybe because I knew from the start that it was going to be a wild one? Thanks for watching ☺️💛
