In my opinion, the Stager deserved 1st place. Even the Plant Guy has brilliantly made his map, I think Stager took more time and effort to create, elaborate and edit.
I think the reason why it didn't win is because it took a more liberal interpretation of "gimmick" which led to it straying from the theme of the contest overall.
