Great film. A true masterpiece that gets better with each viewing. The performances were top notch as was the writing and direction by Nolan. People will look at this film years from now and that it’s ahead of its time. Great podcast!
I was a projectionist for AMC. You’re not supposed to keep them. It’s apparently a crime to take them home even though they all get destroyed once they’re sent back. I also have a handful of trailers. The Dark Knight, No Country For Old Men, Step Brothers, and a few that I can’t remember.
Hello from Hong Kong. Huge fan of Tenet, I came here to hear the interview. Very excited for you guys to have Nolan and Washington on the show!!! I could feel your excitement :) Will start to follow you guys from today! Keep it up! Stay healthy too.
Great show, I enjoyed the interview. I would love to hear someone ask Nolan lingering questions on TENET. I’m a 5 out of 5 on this! Still figuring out if I like this more than Inception. Unlike Inception, I think this demands a sequel! We only got to see the first half of the Protagonist’s temporal pincer. I want to see how he becomes the mastermind. How he forms Tenet. Who is the man/woman/group pulling the strings behind Sator? When and how do Neil & the Protagonist meet? Do you age when you are inverted or does inverses entropy cause you to de-age? The future of the Protagonist’s mission and plan, is in the past. But he might have to go through the future first, thus he could be getting old when he starts building his organization in the past!
They've been a podcast for about 3 years and individually are also film critics so they've built up a good reputation over the years with studios/directors (individually and as a group). They just started the RUclips channel recently so the number of subscribers doesn't necessarily equate their success.
PAUL CAIN OFFICIAL a lot in many other countries than American cinemas. Those countries had premiers long before the US one. It’s very easy getting tickets still. Let’s hope it changes soon.
Sator Square discovered in Pompeii where Max is visiting early on. ...also, the colours Red and Blue are helpful markers throughout the movie, not just the end...
Haven’t seen Interstellar yet. As soon as Kevin started talking about it, I started saying “fuck fuck fuck fuck” as I reached into my pocket to hit the pause button
I love Christopher Nolan, but I kinda feel bad for John David Washington. He's the star of the movie and was largely ignored compared to Nolan. I wish he could have been more involved.
He talk about one of his favorite shots in the whole film being the first shot from the 2and trailer. Where the camera looks at the waves going backwards.
The thing I really don’t like at all in TENET is the writing , The writing of the dialogue between the characters is not that good and in some scene meaningless funny
“I don’t do loud”
Opening scene of Tenet: Am I a joke to you?
German Stukas from Dunkirk divebombing the beach: Am I joke to you????
Great film. A true masterpiece that gets better with each viewing. The performances were top notch as was the writing and direction by Nolan. People will look at this film years from now and that it’s ahead of its time. Great podcast!
“I don’t really do loud” - Christopher Nolan 2020
hahahhaa my ears ouch
I want a relationship like Christopher Nolan has with IMAX... sigh
“I ordered my hot sauce an hour.” Yes!! The best opening guys!!
I used to get confused between jake and kevin. They’re both so energetic.

Why isn’t there a video of them?!
23:15 Nolan: "I've always gravitated towards the simplest version of something." Liar. Lair. Pants on. Fire.
The Fire Rises.
You guys are excellent interviewers! Super cool!
SPOILER!
...
The movie is still a palindrome because the opera scene and 'the third act' actually happen at the same moment in time.

Just subscribed. Love the enthusiasm for Tenet, Nolan and movies in general.
How does a channel of your size (no offense) get Nolan to come on your show? Kudos to you guys

Scrolled down to the comments to find out about the joke at the beginning...but no comments!

Laurie Barr awesome thanks! Going to see it tonight!
That Pattinson died in that moment behind the gate
20:41 idea vs story
Casually watched Dunkirk 6 times
Ma Rainey's Black Bottom will be Chadwick´s last film.
I'm from Colombia, I'm learning English... Would somebody explain to me... What is Nolan talking about in minute 16:00?
He talk about one of his favorite shots in the whole film being the first shot from the 2and trailer. Where the camera looks at the waves going backwards.
