- This was a long and quite tiring hike but so exhilarating! We started our trek at the UNESCO World Heritage monastery of Hosios Loukas in Boeotia (near Delphi) downhill to the surreal valley with the skeleton trees and the barking shepherd dog!
From there, we passed by a stream, saw a hawk hunting, stopped at a tiny chapel on the trail, and crossed the stunning, rugged, awe-inspiring Kleisoura Gorge. We finished our day trip to the picturesque seaside town of Antikyra, where we enjoyed delicious fresh fish by the sea.
