Ohhh I'm so glad it was helpful!! The overwhelm has been interesting to explore to see where it comes from and whether it's real or whether I am creating it to keep myself in the same stressed out and anxious state that I have been for years. And then I am able to dissect and see that the overwhelm has been a protective mechanism - to keep busy and do a lot so that I can feel like I am safe, and doing enough to be worthy of love/attention etc. Hope you're able to reflect a bit to see where the overwhelm stems from!
Thank you for sharing this video! I've been watching many Hobonichi planner videos lately and contemplating getting the Hobonichi Weeks mega or cousin. Because it's quite pricey and I'm afraid I might not be able to consistently use it. But thanks to the reminder that it's okay to have a blank space or page in the planner, just roll with it and I love your setup! I think you convinced me to get a cousin to replicate your system! I'll update once I get one. Definitely saving this video once I get mine. ☺
I'm so glad that my video was helpful!!! I think that we tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves to fill up every page, and I can understand that, especially at that price point - we want to make use it of it all and make the most of it! BUT life happens and I think that having alternative options of how to use some of the pages is really helpful. And you might find other ideas that you like as well that you can incorporate. I think putting less pressure AND having fun with it, especially if it's your first Hobonichi Cousin, is really important! I had the Hobonichi Weeks and felt it was way too small for me. I would say think about what you would use your planner for and then decide the size you want to get. I have a video on how to pick your planner that might be helpful to see what questions you can think through first before picking your planner! Let me know if you have any other questions! I love helping!! :)
@@HappierbySeppy Wow! Thanks for the reply. I'm currently binge-watching your "Plan with me" playlist. I'll watch that later on how to pick your planner. Thank you again! 🥰
It's the Leuchttrum1917 gel pen! It's nice and weighty so it feels good when you hold it. It's a bit smaller than what I am used to but the black gel is super opaque and glides well. It doesn't dry as quickly as some of my other pens but I love how opaque it is. And it's easy to take it around with me since it's so much smaller than other pens and doesn't have a lid that can get lost in my purse! They also have a blue gel option that I have - I prefer the black gel. If you buy from Leuchttrum1917 Canada, you can get 20% off if you use my code "HAPPY20"! :)
This is super helpful, I’ve saved it in my planner favorites! “My go-to emotion is overwhelm” is so me, I need all the help I can get.
