I think the reason why this song is so popular in my country is because the Turkish Nation is extremely fed up with and hates the Arabic throat-tune that makes people sick when they listen to it. That's why the "flat sound" you mentioned had such an impact on everyone who listened to this song in my country. There were many bands that performed this kind of soft rock music, but in all of them, that damn Arabic throat definitely showed itself, they made "arabesque" music with guitar accompaniment and they did not last long. And it was very good. I'm glad they're gone. This and similar ''flat sound''; It is now the beginning of the transition from the damn Arabic voice to modern melodies in Turkey. A similar effect was experienced in the 90s, when the first Turkish rap music entered the country. The name of the group that did this was CARTEL. There was chaos in the country, CARTEL was playing in all the cars, you could understand it while walking on the pavement :) Those who couldn't think about the truth thought that "oh, Turks loved rap music so much." However, the biggest reason was the emergence of a different style of music from the damn Arab throat that I mentioned above.
