Ya'll are atleast the 3rd group to say the course was gnarly, I honestly expected it to be more technical, this was my first race and first time in a sxs, I managed to bring home 8th in sportsman in bone stock RS1
Cool to see you guys doing xc races. Maybe try a different series to see if the officiating is better. Ixcr does utv xc races and they have some close to Michigan.
AWRCS is an actual race series they have been doing it awhile. Red Bull will get everything dialed in. Kinda glad I didn’t race this one my talon definitely would’ve broken.
Tough course and looked like 2-3 alternate lines? Definitely not enough without running some sort of qualifying. Get stuck behind 1 person and you may as well be done.
As usual great content and editing! Love the racing videos. Chief, carry a $5.00 half gallon pump sprayer and you would have been back on the track within a minute or two. We all carry them for the mud and clay build up that comes with riding in Georgia and Bama. Looking forward to seeing the trail riding videos.
Tough track! Congratulations Nick! Bummer Zak and Jake. So Jake, does your car need to be in neutral to start? That split second could have made the difference in getting through the corner clean.
@@Macdad260 when I was having 4wd issues earlier this year we reset the break switch code so it was back to oem. Never changed it back. I agree it’s faster to start in gear and I should have done it before the race.

Good racing guys. Sorry I held you up a little on lap 2. I lost all of my brakes at the end of lap one. That’s why I kept almost flipping in the corners. They didn’t come back until lap 4. And then they were not the best hence the squealing.
How the hell are you suppose to pass anyone on that single wide track without wrecking someone? A best lap time style competition would be the way to go on that course.

AWRCS was on top of it at the mountain scramble. I’d race their series any day

On the start if you wait to turn on the key as soon as they say 10 seconds your rzr will start faster and you’ll get a better start
Hare scrambles on dirt bikes we start every drop.
We just wire our cars up so you can be on the throttle while turning the key in gear 🤘

@@jacobkehoe2808 Weird. I would think the tune would turn the safety stuff off and allow it to start in any gear. Have you talked to AA about it?

This race was way over your heads. Not like racing in Michigan.
That track set up was horrible. No places to pass or get around downed rides. Just my opinion. 🤷♂️
