That’s what’s up. Take the time to learn the Mv it won’t let you down. Audio phases are your best friend. Peep the “song mode” video I put up. It’s an insane feature. You made the right investment. Respect and any questions the Mv community is true and love.
@@ETwOneE21 whats your method of sampling external midi without the added hiss noise? ill sample, and the audio have added hiss which gets louder when i eq. my samples are right under -12 db.
@@keepingfitness727 I store all my samples to an audio phrase. Then chop them up after I gather all the parts I want. I’ll sample from a turntable or right off RUclips. How do you sample and I’m thinking it might be your input jacks/connection
How do you find the USB functionality with newer versions of windows? Can you drag and drop samples to and from Windows 10? Thinking of picking up an MV in the near future.
@@ETwOneE21 then i wait my thank you ....i subscribed.....im thinking getting mpc x or the mv 8800 ..please give me an advise thanks again my friend i am new in sampling...
li austria I like stand alone hardware so the mv is right for me. The mv has a lot of power of today’s machine without the computer. Mix master. Record audio tracks(live instruments etc) has the same power as the Roland 2480 just with pads
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 just copped my MV8000 off EBay last week, I'm very pleased with the sound quality, I also have the MPC One as well

Thank you.
You're welcome!
good tutorial..I do need to get back to learning my mV..
Thank you. Learn it as much as possible. It’s still ahead of its time in ways
when i assign a audio phrase /sample to a pad, ill press the pad but the sample is in different in volume. what coukd that be?
Check your output volume. It might be set to -12db(I think that’s in global settings). Or your velocity button is turned off. Lmk
@@ETwOneE21 i had to resample mix. i usually just direct sample.
@@keepingfitness727 only other thing I can think of is to normalize it.

Justin Stewart once u connect it to your computer it comes up as a hard drive(Mv8800 hard drive) on your desktop
@@ETwOneE21 that's what i thought. So no troubles with windows 10 then i guess.
Justin Stewart shouldn’t be. I use a Mac tho but I kno it will show as a hard drive on both Mac or pc
