You would think if consciousness was merely a product of the brain, during periods of flat eeg you would expect to see faded or murky consciousness and not clear (and sometimes beyond clear) consciousness. Also to go along with the blind nde cases you could also include cases of collaborative evidence. Like cases that involve two relatives dying around the same time, one has a nde and sees the other person who just recently died. Those need explaining too.
