Well, in training someone else, it also helps us understand all you do, so thank you for tackling the extra work and communication. Appreciate also being called, "RUclips Family". This roof reminds me of the time and Engineer helped make you a custom scraper for a roof. There can be such variety in styles and the end result shifts. This one needed cleaning, did have material on it but the color change was not as blatant as some places. That was an enjoyable color-shift on the driveway pavers. An interesting problem to deal with, in that you ended up doing the whole street, which certainly looked nicer, but added a lot of cleanup time. Cameron seemed to be doing well and Kevin was doing all the backup work that keeps things flowing.
Good job on mentoring Sid! I'm the kind of person you can't just tell "do it this way, it's how we do it" I gotta know why too! "We do it this way to prevent xyz" if I know why I'm doing something I'm more likely to do it right because I know the reasoning behind it, or if it's not going as intended I know to ask for help 🙂
Watching the mentoring of someone learning the job really shows how much there is to know and how difficult a job it really is. It was sometimes un-nerving to watch the expert but watching a novice really points out how hard it is to do well and safely.
This job is basically 5% learning what to do & how to do it safely then 95% just little intricacies to look out for, certain types of drains, certain types of stones, placement of scaffolding or even parking your van in the right spot, most confusing job Ive ever had at times but the next day it can be the easiest, keeps me on my toes for sure (:
I’ve been following you for nearly 2 years now and you must be damn proud of yourself, Sid! Look how far you’ve grown! Two vans, multiple employees and nearing 200k subscribers! Hell, I’m proud of you! Keep it up man! 👊🏻
I was saying this in the next video that should be up tomorrow, starting a really big job but it is sometimes much easier because you know you're gonna be there for days so it's no pressure, the small easy jobs seem to be the most awkward!
Great job! A lot of your time is spent setting up & taking down scaffolding as well so it's difficult to do more than one or two jobs a day when they're an hour apart. Just do what you can in a day & the other customers will have to give you grace!
I've been hooked onto your videos for a short while now and for some reason you bring up my inner peace with those satisfying clean jobs you do. You've also flared up a side of me that wants to pressure wash stuff myself now. Done some stuff at the homebase to help out my poorly parents that can't do everything anymore as quickly as they used to and this is a full on therapy for me =D I also have to say that watching you grow like this in comparison to the videos of 1-2 years ago is astonishing and respectable. The day I move to the UK I might call you in for some work when it gets to the point. Keep up the good work Sid and make my working days more relaxing as you have been doing for the past few months. Much love from Belgium
Hi Sid, I have started an exterior cleaning business - your videos were the inspiration, so I can’t thank you enough. How do you set up the pole as you do to jet wash the roofs, what equipment / parts are needed please?
What do you do with all the dirt that you picked up in that bucket? Where do you dispose of it? Also, do you do anything about the left over water or just let it dry?
It's like the expert v the novice vibes in all the comments. I think it's odd you feel like you have to tutor him publicly I watched here for a year to see the pressure washing not to get a crash course in managerial skills .
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning I actually watch you regularly and know about Cameron helping ummm, excuse me, learning, as you've explained in previous vids. You have a positive attitude so continue with ignoring naysayers. Congrats again on your business growing and doing well.
@@louloua21 if you don't like it, don't watch it 🤷 Sid is sharing his job, as he always has. At the minute that happens to include training an apprentice (very well, I might add!).
I also clean surfaces with pressure washers, but not yet professionally. however, I did notice one thing. do you also have that when you wash for a long time, then when you see some other pavement or concrete, you notice that it is dirty and needs to be washed? I see things like this :)
As usual Sid another great video / job. I got a bit nervous watching Cameron knock out the scaffolding but he mastered it fine. Watching from New Zealand.
Don't worry; we don't begrudge you the shenanigans of training an apprentice/being a mentor. We all know you'll do right by him, Sid, and teach him well~
That job you did was great by the way , im there window cleaner, you saw me when leaving the job ! That drain at front of driveway blocked solid , we used a pressure washer to release it few months ago without any joy , was going to ask owner if he wanted his drive Cleaned, so glad I didn’t, nightmare clean up . 🤣
What’s wrong with your arm? Hope it gets better soon. We live in Australia, it’s now late Autumn, it’s your Spring and you say it’s hot, how hot? It’s hard work what you do, it may be exacerbating your arm. Thank for helping this young man, hope it works out for both of you.
Is Cameron a relative, a friend, or someone who paid you a boatload to learn all your fantabulous skills? 😁😁 Roaringly great work on both the roof and the drives. Great teacher, explaining what should be done, demonstrating it, then explaining troubleshooting. I spent the last years of my career training critical care experienced nurses and doctors new to critical care. I loved it AndI can see you seem to enjoy mentoring as well. Might have to hire him for easier jobs. Glad to see your business growing exponentially.
So Cam's learned Build up, move and take down scaffolds safely. Power wash cylinder tile roof, block pavement weed removal, Biocide vs. bleach. Ticks on the list coming along nicely. He needs roof scraping and sanding drives yet? Beautiful work, as always, guys. :)
Hi Sid. Another job well done. Can I ask your professional opinion on something. I have paving in the garden that is pinkish in colour. I asked a local dealer if I could use sodium hypochlorite on them to kill the weeds that keep growing between them because the landscaper did not put down a weed barrier. The dealer said it would damage/stain the pavers. What is your opinion please?
Hey I’m newly subscriber Loving the vids . But could you make a video of your equipment and van set / costs etc and also how to price jobs lol not asking for much haha
That didn't look easy that looked like bloody hard work. The amount of dirt at the bottom of the drive after jetting must have added up to quite a lot.
Great video Sid 👍 I have a question but know you get so many comments you’ll struggle to answer. Have you ever had any times you’ve pressure washed and treated with hypo near to artificial grass ? I have a job coming up that I’m a bit nervous about as they have artificial grass right next to the drive. Wondered if it would bleach it the same way it does grass if not watered down properly initially? Cheers!
That drive was really filthy! Mega difference. Training someone who is interested is really rewarding but of course it slows you down. I'm sure that you could hold a few courses to teach new folks all the do's & don't of the trade. Just wondering Sid if you have ever come across any women in this line of work or is it a mans world?
I'm getting one.!! Backpack has been playing up... I'm a slater/tiler and in lockdown found your videos. Seeing you come this far has been inspirational Sid honestly. I've purchased 2 Flexi scraper sets for my son and I. Also the GVS Predator and Skyvac Atom.... It's all been a great addition to the services I offer now.. Cheers pal....
theres the issue. start your own business, and it works, you are doin great. so you hire staff, who dont and cant have your passion for details etc. its a weird one. to grow you need staff.but id want you doin the job, not your staff....good luck.

Wow! Every time you always give 100%, Cameron has a great teacher with You and Kev! Great as always Sid!

Certainly keeping yourself busy Sid with work & now, managing staff !! 👍
im tired bro! :D
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning I bet just like my old man, guys working for you and you do the lions share 🤔
Great video, Sid! Its so nice of you to help Cameron learn the job. You are a wonderful teacher 😊
So many steps in making sure the scaffolding is secure. I don't think I could go up that high...

Yay another video!
The world needs more workers like yourself mate! You take pride in every single job. I’m watching from over in Australia 🇦🇺 👍🏼
Cleaned up very nice! Hope that other job doesn't get too on your case.
It turned out quite nice.
And it was a pleasant surprise to see you posting another video the next day.
Hi Sid, I have started an exterior cleaning business - your videos were the inspiration, so I can’t thank you enough. How do you set up the pole as you do to jet wash the roofs, what equipment / parts are needed please?
As always Sid, you do an excellent job every time. You are a great teacher to Cameron and I hope he appreciates it. Have a great weekend.
What do you do with all the dirt that you picked up in that bucket? Where do you dispose of it? Also, do you do anything about the left over water or just let it dry?
Love the parts with no music, just pressure washer sounds!
Thank you for being consistent with you uploads 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 congrats to you on your many successes 🥳🥳🥳
Nice and clean Job💪👍
I got used to Cameron being in your videos surprisingly fast ) He seems to be a nice guy and looks natural working with you. I'm gonna miss him )
You’re a great teacher Sid! Love your videos. So happy for all your success! 💰🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
New dude is doing a great job. 👍🏻Save the boer. o/
i didnt expect a video today so thank you !
Your apprentice looks to be earning his keep.
Bit condescending tbf I personally don't like him lecturing his apprentice on here it's giving me narcissistic vibes
Eh? When have I lectured anyone 😂

Yet another great video with an awesome job result!! Great work Sid!!
It’s easy if you’ve done the online training course and watched all 723 of Sid’s videos. 😁
Yes Sid
Hi grate work agin 👍 there’s lots of conflicting information about jet washing roofs I was wondering what your thoughts or on this? Thanks
What's the most unusual thing you've seen when up the scaffold?😮
As usual Sid another great video / job. I got a bit nervous watching Cameron knock out the scaffolding but he mastered it fine. Watching from New Zealand.
Always a pleasure when Sid uploads
Awesome work and thanks for sharing this with us take care

How long do you run a pressure washer for before it needs a break or just continuously use? Love your content as well sir!

Invest in a laser tape measure you can work out your lift hight then off the tower ❤
0:34 Dammit, guy, you're driving on the wrong side of the road! ;)
Great video!! Sometimes things are so different than we think.
I watched a lot of these videos on washing roofs and I wonder if water gets under the tiles or shingles.
Cheers
Loving the vids, just finished watching the last one
Nice job guys ❤😊
Go on Sid and the gang 👌

cool
what does buysside this mean? (probably mistyping it)
Biocide - the after chemical we put on the roof to keep it nice and clean 🧼
Ask the guy in the UCT shirt if he is a POES?
hey youtube ads...the 5 on the 5 sec ad is on for two seconds...way to cheat the system

Do you use the Dose Demon still....?

Phew you got some nice kit already then - apart from my van mount, the dose demon was my best investment for roof cleaning
