I took class with Bujones back in the late 70's, with Madam Darvash's in New York City, when she came from Romania, on Columbus Circle. Nancy Raffa was there, as her mother was the piano player. Nancy had just won an award for her dancing and M. Darvash was some kind of force in the elite Ballet world. I had just started ballet at 21, and thought I do something with it, but only studied. Watching Bujones up close was an eye awakener - he moves so slowly with his arms it's like magic.
