The land west of Hwy 280 is steep forested land. And that includes the large watershed for the Crystal Springs Reservoir, where we get out tapwater. That is not a practical place to build significant housing.
@@tomtaber1102 there is a ton of space there. The fact that Woodside and portola valley has the housing they have, shows it’s definitely very possible. It’s the most prime area for any developer to take on due to the median price in these areas. It’s easy to find space between the bay area and Sacramento or Stockton but those just lead to more traffic in already bad areas. We will see what happens
