Everyone took their role seriously outside of reading scripts. They embedded themselves in this. Fantastic production and writing. The cinematography is incredible. So much heart. I’m so glad to see this in theaters with amazing sound. Great reaction as always ❤❤
American main battle tanks (M4 Shermans) were inferior in tank-on-tank engagements to German tanks, specifically Tiger I’s (as depicted in the movie). A common analogy used by historians was that each Tiger was worth 4 Shermans, so the Americans produced 5. German tank manufacturers focused on “heavy” tanks with more armor and heavier cannon, whereas American tanks relied on mobility and strength in numbers in the European Theatre and North Africa (due to their production capacity). To all the amateur YT historians out there who are rushing to the reply button to refute my comment, yes, I am familiar with the mechanical complexity and unreliability of German armor. It’s just a movie, and I am making generalizations that are intrinsically accurate. I don’t claim that German tanks are “better”. But given what we do know about the effectiveness of each machine, I’d rather be in a Tiger than a Sherman in a head-to-head matchup.
The sub-machinegun they give to the poor clerk-typist is an American M-3. It shoots the .45 ACP round, and it was a replacement weapon for the Thompson sub-machinegun. The Thompson was invented in 1918, and was expensive and time-consuming to manufacture. The M-3 was invented after the US entered World War 2, and it was cheap (about $11) and quick to manufacture.
Great reaction guys, despite some historical inaccuracies and some other minor gripes i cant help but notice, still one of my favorite war movies , keep it up guys !
Fun fact, in that scene where Norman was forced to execute the German soldier, even if Norman and Wardaddy didn't want to, it is quite legally by the Geneva convention regarding war crimes - permissible act to execute that soldier for one simple premise - when captured, that Soldier was caught wearing your uniform (or part of it) The Rule of war does not applies to captured soldiers if they are spies, saboteurs, or enemies disguised under your uniform (willingly or partially), and often time this will immediately gets you a summary execution by firing squad upon capture - like for example during the 1944's Battle of the Bulge, where Skorzeny's commando troop disguised themselves as American Military Police infiltrating the American lines to spread false direction and information - when many of the German commando was captured, the American MP arresting them just executed them on-site by Firing squad.
Sick reaction, you guys can follow a movie way better than most channels, I seen this movie a bunch but I never remembered the Tank commanders names haha you guys catch everything. 10/10 Movie.
There was saying, something like this : ,, 1 German tank was as good as 4 American tanks. The problem was, that Americans would bring 5 '' Nazis had around 50 000 tanks, while allies 250 000~.
So at 9:55 I just want to point out when the guy said “why don’t they just quit” he meant why don’t the Germans just surrender. By that point we had pushed them back beyond their own borders so it’s obvious they’ve lost but they just keep fighting. Also after Japan bombed us germany declared war on us so we did have a reason to fight.
That tiger tank wouldn't miss, and they always take out the lead tank to create a traffick jam in the collum... So in reality this movie would of been over half way through haha.. All 5 shermans would be gone before the tiger even came out the treeline in reality.. Edit: i love how the german solider left him in the end, it shows both sides were scared and just as innocent as him
6:53 That's not an MP40 (German 9mm). That's an M3 (US .45 cal.). Edit: I agree. This is the best war movie ever made to date. Even better than Saving Private Ryan - and that's saying something. Fury is grittier and forces us to see the darkest parts of war. For me, the most important part was when Machine earned his war-name. He was finally a real integral part of the crew. One of the boys. The honor he receives in being christened 'Machine' is the deepest brotherly love men show one another. Truthfully, even closer than brothers.
31:08 This movie had many deleted scenes that if they stayed that would make this movie 100% better than what it already is in that scene where they say best job i ever had the full scene is where grady says what else could they ask for in a job they get free drinks free smokes and get to travel and see sights and thats when they best job i ever had and I think it fits way better.
Alternate perspective: Tank crews tend to be superstitious. Norman was just bad luck. Or, the death of the previous bow gunner turned their luck bad. If you believe in that sort of thing. I dont know. I'm high.
I don't think that is a high thought lol I feel like that could be a part of a superstition for them within the tank crew. In my opinion, I think the reason on why they thought Norman was "bad luck" was the simple fact that he wasn't ready to "delete" anyone which in turn will lead to other people around them dying trying to protect him.
@DaKidsReact Yeah, anyone new person that isn't a straight-up killer is a problem. A literal weak link. This ain't no place for a fruit and veggies eater. We eat meat around here. We eat or we get eaten. Like Gordo said, "this ain't pretty. This is what we do."
I've seen a reaction. To this about 6 times now and you guys by far.Did the best one?You both called a lot of things that nobody else did like the white horse
In truth, the Allies had better tanks than the German Panther and Tiger....But the Germans used their tanks more efficiently. The Allies' tanks were mainly for speed and pushing through things whereas the Germans' tanks were used for the purpose of destroying other tanks!
Can we get a reaction to Stalingrad movie ? Another great ww2 movie but this time it’s from the German perspective on the eastern front in Russia really good film
The creators of the film read about the real exploits and feats of Soviet tank crews during WW2 and decided to come up with a Hollywood fairy tale, where the exploits remained but whose tanks and crew are now? That's right, US😁 Liars, ah yay yay
I had very high expectations for this film but when I watched it I was immensely disappointed by the weakness of the plot, script and development and most of all by the total unreality of the battle scenes.
The over-the-top tracer effects really spoil this movie, The director defends them and says they're fine, but they're ridiculous. Looks like friggin' Star Wars 🤦♂
Alright let’s all hit the like button these guys need more recognition
@@unfoundfate appreciate the love!!
@@DaKidsReact Please watch restrepo and Lost battalion. You won't regret it . The Beast also it's about a Soviet tank crew in the Afghan war.
I definitely liked 🎉
facts

“It’s called war! You feel it?”
The cast killed it in this movie! Keep up the great work yall!
@@LifeAlmostWithoutAnime one of the best cast put together for a movie! You guys keep up the great work also love the anime reactions!

Wardaddy's rifle through most of the movie was the German made Sturmgewehr Stg44. The Soviets copied it from the Germans, and called it the AK-47.
War Daddy was a real tank commander ✌️
Great reaction guys, despite some historical inaccuracies and some other minor gripes i cant help but notice, still one of my favorite war movies , keep it up guys !
Star Wars lasers ruin it for me?
@philb2085 yeahhh, my biggest gripe is the the tiger battle in general 😂
If you love war movies like this, I think you’d really enjoy Hacksaw Ridge as well!

I visited the Bovington tank museum where they had Fury and the Tiger 1 on display. Was cool seeing the tanks in the flesh. The Tiger 1 is huge.
black hawk down is another really good war movie...but it's based on a true story...'this is my safety , sir!'
I (shim) might have watched that before I'm not totally sure and if I did, it was a long time ago.
That wasn't the MP40. Those are German.
What he tossed up was the M3 "Grease Gun".
Sick reaction, you guys can follow a movie way better than most channels, I seen this movie a bunch but I never remembered the Tank commanders names haha you guys catch everything. 10/10 Movie.
Watch "We Were Soldiers ". You will not regret this choice. It's just as good, you will enjoy it just as much.
last movie me and my dad watched before he died
@kimmypfeiffer9130 RIP dad, he sounded like a great man! The world needs more like him😎.
There was saying, something like this :
,, 1 German tank was as good as 4 American tanks. The problem was, that Americans would bring 5 ''
Nazis had around 50 000 tanks, while allies 250 000~.
Nazis built just over 1,800 Tigers in total... US built 50 THOUSAND Shermans 😂
I love how y’all knew a lot of the weapons, aside from the M4 grease gun. Y’all connected to this movie so well and felt it. I loved this reaction.
The saddest part of all this is in the introduction. It's April, 1945. The war ended May 7, 1945. Less than a month from the events in the film.
I love how raw your reactions are
Fun fact: Both Jason Isaacs (guy you mentioned from Harry Potter), and Logan Lerman (Norm) were both in The Patriot.
This move hits hard

Saving Private Ryan is the best war movie about. Spielberg at his best.
Ahhhh this & SPR are tied for us personally.
Shia for real took his tooth out to fully get into the part. IDK about that, but he killed it for sure.🫡✊🏾
“Nah cause you really dyin wit the gang tho” 😭😭 this movie top 3 war movies for sure
That put it into perspective & hit the heart strings🤣

what's the dubstep bed in the intro?
