  • In this adventure I forage for wild porcini mushrooms, process them and then cook some up in a chicken noodle stew.

Greetings dear viewers. We will be focused on outdoor skills such as survival bushcraft, back country adventures, overlanding, camping, outdoor cooking, trout fishing, rock hounding, prospecting, wildcraft, edible plant foraging, beach combing, making jewelry and exploring some local points of interest in the pacific northwest area.
This is a general purpose outdoors channel where we will be exploring everything from historic mining sites and ghost towns to wild mushroom patches, botanical areas and mountain country as we travel Bigfoot's back yard in southern Oregon and northern California in search of natural beauty.
Whether you are a survivalist, foodie or just enjoy hiking and hunting for pretty rocks, I think you will enjoy our adventures and invite you to come along. At no time will any sasquatches be harmed in the making of these films.

Really nice video Phill, one of my favorites that you have done. What was the date of your foraging for these spring kings? And what elevation did you find them?

It was about a month ago. Cant remember exact date. Elevation about 5000 feet. Thinking about heading back up there in a couple weeks for huckleberries and puffballs.
