That PCSO who “wasn’t happy” was chewing gum all the way through the interaction. This is the same station plod or not to plod got grief at but they ended up doing the legendary walk of shame.
They have lots of things better to do: playing computer games; abducting, raping and murdering citizens; eating doughnuts; harassing innocent members of the public, sleeping on the job ... the list goes on.
Ask them to verbally identify at the initial contact, then they will look extra unprofessional when they give you the standard shoulder dip. Keep up the good work, greetings from Sweden.

‘To plod or not plod’ audited this station a few weeks ago, there was a real stroppy cow on his video and a couple of other belligerent cops highlighting the disconnect between the public and police.

This was a great Audit Yardley the four muppets were classic 2 PCSO’S 1 little boy blue and a Hendon bully boy…..the other four officers could quite easily just move on and do their job by investigating your concerns PC Grainger Just pulled it back…big up on the editing sharp informative content……Respect :)

Considering the number of audits at that building I would have thought that someone would have had a quiet word with the people stationed there, however it appears that the hierarchy is just as useless as the common plod.
I think this whole audit is a sad and poor reflection on the Met Police. Policing by consent only works when Police Staff can communicate professionally and efficiently with members of the public. I didnt see that at all and at the end all the officers walking past you and not a 'hi' or 'are you OK?' from any of them.

If S/S, by law as specified in PACE they required to provide Name/Number/Station and (Warrant Card) if plain clothes.. firearms officers are exempted from providing their names. As part of their policy upon request by any member of public an officer must identify themselves as aforementioned. It’s very simple.. not sure why they routinely refuse to…

The two unidentified "things" were included to show how not to interact with the public! The class at the end was training on the right way. Would have thought one of the class might have gone and bought an apple for the teacher! Was impressed that the dreaded "Section 43" wasn't mentioned once!
You should always use this comeback about personal vehicles: Why do Police think it's fine to film members of the public and their vehicles AND use that information to prosecute? Yet they get their panties in a twist when we film them and their cars. Double standards.

I was shocked at the lack of response to the Public Enemy #1 with the camera. What's the world coming to, I thought? Only 4 cops available to set on this high-profile target? Worrying! It's not 20k more cops they need, it's 200k, if this is all they can muster for such a dangerous situation. Then I watched the reserve battalion being bussed in at the end which made me feel so much better. Now the cops can go in with a full company to deal with future visits of this scourge of society. Heart-warming, isn't it? Not!
