Love this table. I would probably try it with stronger hinges (self-locking ones), maybe add 2 more and maybe a Z shape leg, so it has a wider area to support the weight.
This is brilliant! I love the look of both the coffee table and dining/computer table. Beautiful lines, creative visual, do it yourself and affordable with no need for a workshop full of power tools. I really want to give this a try. How is the table working out for you? Is there anything you'd recommend doing differently or in addition to your original build now that you have been living with it?
Thank you! I'm really glad you like it. Something I would have done differently is cut a 45 degree angle on the folding edges so when they open they lock into each other. I think that would offer a lot more support and look cleaner too :) Joe
I think I would unfortunately. Perhaps cutting a 45 degree angle where the pieces open up to could help though. It would form a natural stop... I think haha :) Joe
I think you should give credit to the original designers of this table, to me this looks almost identical to the tables made by "duffy london". At least this is the place where I've seen this design before.
I have no idea what this man said. But I like his work!
Very clever idea and simple enough to be easily customizable.
Thanks Russ!
Simple great idea
Great! Can you recommend what type of ready made table legs would work and how you would place them?
Yes!! Finally, this is what I was looking for!! Many many thanks for this great design.

Super cool table, thank you for sharing.
So much nicer than the ones they sell for hundreds of dollars with legs that look like an ironing board
great video and a nice table

Creíble, muy muy linda y practica
Brilliant design... Well Done 🎉🎉🎉
Would you have the same extension problem if you used piano hinges as opposed to butt hinges?
I think I would unfortunately. Perhaps cutting a 45 degree angle where the pieces open up to could help though. It would form a natural stop... I think haha :) Joe
love this!
Cheers Fergus!
Nice i like this
Thank you! :) Joe
A sliding blot lock might help add some strength
I'd love to create such table for my boyfriend since he lives in this tiny studio without any dining table. Are there any templates available?
MASTER PIECE

Will u pls tell me the length of leg correctly
They’re roughly 68cm long but as long as they’re slightly smaller than the central piece they’ll work 😊 Joe
There are videos with so much views and this design being superior has so little views
