the small tiled dishes used to come as craft kits. I made a small dish for my dad with a block style "J" in the center for my dad as a gift, that was around 55-60 years ago
The tall white lamp was a halogen bulb lamp. Popular in the 90s, they got hot and were known to be fire starters. The one we had cooked the occasion moth.
Don't forget to check ALL the pages of coin books! I once got a coin collecting book with 23 Indian Head pennies in it for a dollar, because the pros running the estate sale assumed it was empty! They looked at the first couple of pages which were empty, but the last few pages were not!
I love your finds! I don’t know how you pass things for your new home. But you have the right idea to move in and then see what you need. Then you don’t end up with many boxes that you don’t have room for. Take care of yourself!!!
I loved that lamp!!! Im a lamp person too. I bought an expensive lamp when we picked out our furniture. I guess it was the best one in the place, but l didn't know at the time.❤️
I had a similar lucite daisy plant that I got for my 13th birthday in 1972. Mine was more oranges and yellows without pink. I had that thing for years. It still might be in a box at my parents vacation place.
Great Walk-through. So fun to see what treasures you can find. I miss you shopping with Daphine. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Dagny is on a road trip with her family and Jocelyn has been crazy busy with 2 house renos and getting ready for baby. I'm sure they will get together soon🙂
Love watching your video's.You find A lot of amazing stuff.I don't know how you remember all the info.I can barely remember what I ate a couple hours later.Lol.
Oh my gosh! A Dora the Explorer house? I would have grabbed that for sure. My grandson loves all of the older shows & the toys for them are outrageously priced! (You can only find them on eBay & other sale sites). I literally paid $50 for a toy at Christmas time that originally sold for only $2.99! Ugh. Anyway, great haul! Thank you for sharing 😘💕
If you submerge and soak those big bowls in got water with a cup of oxiclean overnight or longer, it will clean off the discoloration and doesn't hurt the paint. Try it in a coffee cup that is all discolored some time too. Depending on how bad the staining is, you might need to dump out water and start over to get it all off.
From watching the various Thrifting channels, I have learn a new expression. Mid Century. So, I am Mid Century. I now feel very old. I have many pre Mid Century collectibles and antiques and hoped to get my daughter sell on Ebay. She has a part time job and doesn't seem to be that interested since even if she charges tax, now she'll get a W-2 for any amount she sells using PayPal over $600 for an entire year which would affect her earned income credit. I suppose this will affect your taxes as well. I don't need Good Will. We have two houses loaded with things to sell from my parents estate, my inlaws and antiques I've purchased for over 50 years and heirlooms from two sets of parents. Our houses look like hoarder houses. I am overwhelmed. You seem to have so much fun.
I'm not sure but, I believe that rectangle wood tray around :50 secs. would've been worth some good money. I had a wooden carved plate the size of a reg. dinner plate & sold it for good money!
One of these days, you and Andrew need to take a road trip to Replacements. It is located not far from me. They have a museum. It is a huge building. Of course, there is a bunch of antique places and of course, Goodwill.
Sometimes I see stuff and something in my brain says “you should pick that up”, and I don’t for some reason and then I think about it when I get home and make the mistake of looking it up way too long after I’ve left the store 🤦🏻♀️ lol
Unbelievable finds, especially the needlework!♥️. If that pottery piece says Mexico, DF, then it's from Mexico City. DF stands for Distrito Federal ( federal district)
Good heavens! Could the Good Will turn that music up any louder? It was as if you almost had to yell your words to make yourself heard and you've got the mic right next to you. Geesh!
We used to live near an airport where they took off from.. people were always landing in our neighborhood. We kept the fridege stocked with champagne because the tradition is to break open a bottle with the ballooners! Every summer they had a race too... there would be hundreds of balloons in flight.. so beautiful and fun!
I like seeing you buy lamps. It's where I first started watching you - the first one I remember you painted the figure some flamboyant color - and it worked! and you have such unique taste especially when it comes to lamps. Would love to see them after you refurbish them, or match them with shades 😎! (In your leisure time I mean🤣)

Love the lucite flowers! Totally brings me back to the 70`s. 😎
Souvenir from Six Flags over Texas late 60’s. Thanks for the memories. 🌼
I adore those! I had one for the longest time as a kid.

I love the bowls and the crazing on them, there are alot of us out there that just love that look.
Thanks to you I know what to look for. I scored 2 vintage Hull cornucopia vases for $5 for the pair. They are worth $36 each! You are a great teacher!
My mother made the same picture of the boy fishing and the girl feeding the chickens! She still has it (dated 1969).
Love you’re in my old stomping grounds girl. Frederick Maryland. I still live in Maryland. Love all you videos and adventures.

I miss service merchandise we use to get all kinds of stuff from them we just had a clock bite the dust ...we had it many years from them...
Two gold backs tiled trays are mid century pieces. It must have been more of a west coast thing. They are standard mcm items.
Love your treasures!! So glad you're not buying broken or chipped items❤
Loved that glass tray with a horse and with rope design trim.
I grew up in Binghamton NY and love hot air balloons for the same reason.
I cried out in pain when I saw the Callaway pattern cookie jar right behind the german cider set. I have been looking and looking for that! 😳
I love your finds! I don’t know how you pass things for your new home. But you have the right idea to move in and then see what you need. Then you don’t end up with many boxes that you don’t have room for. Take care of yourself!!!

Now that there’s a quick swoosh at the beginning, I hope you still have your superpower! 👊
I like that you put the estimated value on the videos. I helps me learn. Enjoy you. Thanks
The tiles on the copper or brass were very popular in the 1960s. I had kits to make them. The East Coast also.
That crewel is everything! If you dont keep it. I'm game!

Oh my gosh! A Dora the Explorer house? I would have grabbed that for sure. My grandson loves all of the older shows & the toys for them are outrageously priced! Good heavens! Could the Good Will turn that music up any louder? It was as if you almost had to yell your words to make yourself heard and you've got the mic right next to you. Geesh!
I was thinking the music sounds like we were in a smokey bar.
@@christineschiebel2890 Exactly. And they didn't even offer us a cold beer! LOL

One of the best experiences I had was waving at the people in the got air balloon as the passed by my job.
We used to live near an airport where they took off from.. people were always landing in our neighborhood. We kept the fridege stocked with champagne because the tradition is to break open a bottle with the ballooners!
Every summer they had a race too... there would be hundreds of balloons in flight.. so beautiful and fun!

Those blue glasses are Dollar Tree items do of you liked them you can get them for a 1.25 each.
Another fun shopping trip.
Right down the street is another thift store. Come out of the Goodwill take a right go through the first light it is on the right.
Today I bought a DDR space age vase. From behind the iron curtain. Warsaw Pact power. It looks pretty cool. Quite unique. Now I need a Trabant.
The vase sounds like a find for sure. A Trabant? Isn't that a Soviet Bloc "car"? I saw a few YT videos on them
Sounds cool. OMG i love those little car's😂
Love the shelf hanging cow! I’d buy that if I knew how to navigate my phone to purchase it.
Hi honey! Guess what! Your “ small” GW is bigger than our “large” ones,, Lol,
Love watching what you pick up ! Blessings on your new home!
Love your channel!!! That second store was so danged noisy it was giving me anxiety.
Beautiful lamp!
The 2 blue flower glasses for .99 each come from the Dollar Tree.
