- On the 10th anniversary of the 7/7 London bombings, former Prime Minister Tony Blair has been describing how he first heard about the attacks on the city. He said it was only as time passed, that it became clear that there were ''multiple casualties''.
Asked if he felt ''culpable'' because of his stance on Iraq and Afghanistan, he told the BBC's Norman Smith ''there will always be reasons and excuses that people use for terrorism''. ''In the end, the responsibility has got to lie with the people who carry this out and with those who encourage them,'' he said.

people saying blair is disgusting are right about the war in iraq and Afghanistan, but this is a man that took britain from the mid 90s shook it up and made it ready for the millennium showing economic competence could be matched with social decency truly in that aspect one of the best prime ministers this country has ever had.
Rebuilt what came before
People disagree I'm 40 and he was our best prime minister, smart decent charasmatic
Wow, look at how this guy has aged.........can't think of anyone who deserved it more.
He got a text reading: 'Boss, it is done'
exactly
Yes, then he forwarded the text to his boss!
??
The BBC paid Tony Blair £6000 a minute for this interview
Sheep Worrier ????
Jack Ah £6000 a minute is Tony's usual rate for interviews ( +expenses, of course )
Sheep Worrier how much do we pay him to stop talking?
A nano second you mean
ridiculous evil man snivelling lyying indecent coward
His was alot better at concealing his dupers delight at this point and a slightly better actor but the odd smirk still creeps out. Go back and look at his speech to the public after Diana died and you will see what I mean. The world is s stage show and this demon is one of the conductors
It's your fault Tony
In the US, recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal. In the UK, Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter. He's a mass murderer, what does that tell you about the free world?
So which Islamist apologists are going to blame Blair for 7/7 ?
Centrist Philosopher
“Islamist apologist”. Try harder. Non ones blaming him for the attacks. They’re blaming him for an illegal invasion and doing so while knowing the near definite repercussions of his idiotic actions, such as 7/7 (sympathy to the victims).

To what end?
“I was sat outside the classroom when I saw the first bomb go off, cus the tv was obviously on... and I thought, I used to be an electrician myself and that just be one terrible electrician”
I don't believe Blair had the capacity to pull off a false flag attack, but his inconsistencies are striking!
@@danielhamilton2648can you explain?
If that reporter had of asked me that question, he'd be in the hospital recovering from a grievous beating.
He who started with George Bush all this , eveil guy
This bloke Blair is a disgusting individual and probably needs to take then blame for this. I was also shocked to learn only last week that Stephen Hawking was caught up in the Edgware Road bomb , but only disclosed this a few months ago
I believe he's a psychopath. All the traits and signs are there. Check out a Thomas Sheridan lecture about psychopaths.
Blair sold his soul to these 'people'. Why did he suddenly become a Catholic when he doesn't believe in anything but money?
Asking him the Iraq question was a bit out of order
A highly intelligent man and politician. An excellent speaker, personally I find him to be truthful and very interesting to listen to.
It certainly is not easy to lead the country and make the right decisions.
He organised it
He should be imprisoned that evil being!! He and other authorities were in cahoots on the 7/7 inside job - how could the bombers arrive at King’s Cross station from Luton on the 7.40am train (which was cancelled that day) to then be able to catch their destined targets in time?
Spot on brother

U r a troll 🖕
It’s all be proven multiple times by MI5. CIA. FBI. MI6. News shows etc
Also why would he even risk doing that
Lunatic
WWE had NO Choice but to ERASED Muhammad Hassan from History.
bet he organised it
Why would he organise it. What would it do for him.
Oh I’ve killed over 50 people. Angered a nation. Risked my job and blew up vital infrastructure.
Not to mention how many people would have to know about it and keep it secret. It’s unlikely that everyone that needed to know in the police. MI5 and MI6, the US and others have all just kept secret about it all this time
Tony Blair is one of the best Prime minister’s the UK ever had
Sorry to break it to you but Santa isn't real and neither is the tooth fairy. Once you have recovered, I hope this information starts you on the right path.
@@notyou1821 i’m still sticking with my statement that Tony Blair is one of the best UK prime ministers, especially compared to our 3 conservatives.
David Cameron: Divided the Nation. and was quite weak towards NATO and the EU
May: Horrific Brexit negations. Voted out of power, Grenfell
Boris Johnson: Covid. Party Gate. Rwanda and now record high living prices and taxes
So Tony Blair compared to our recent prime ministers he is the best we’ve had
@@notyou1821 Idk man, investing into the NHS and starting a minimum wage is good. You gotta give him some credit

Liar. Liar. Liar. I’ll never forgive myself for voting for Blair.
I thought he planned it with Prince Bandar.
urgh the man who would be a rockstar
This bloke Blair is a disgusting individual and must shoulder some of the blame for this attack. I was also shocked to learn last week that Stephen Hawking was caught up in the edgeware road bomb but only disclosed this info a couple of months ago.
Man of the Trees fuck off you stupid moron he had nothing to do with it
That’s a horrible thing to say. “Shoulder the blame for this attack” no. It was the people who bombed London who are to blame for the attack. While yes he started the war in iraq and Afghanistan he took the UK from a country which was failing economically and politically and made it ready for the modern times.
He is a good PM compared to others we’ve had
@@cmcofficial1964 They’re going to put their hands over their ears and scream 7/7 and Iraq.
@@soupman3285 Tony Blair isn’t even responsible for that. He was fed lies by the US and MI6. I hate it when people in the future shout how they would have done stuff differently. When they know what happens in the future
How dare you, how dare you say this, you don't even know Stephen hawking was there you madhead.
Good answer.
A great Prime Minister, with statesmanship that we sorely lack in today's absolute mess of a political situation. It's brilliant hearing a man who is actually intelligent speak, rather than the bunch of bufoons we are stuck with now.
Tony blair should be locked up.
Are you mad, or stupid?
Fancy that his support for the war in the middle east was near zero and then this happens, very very handy. He is deep state as can be and will be going to jail soon
Liar - you were locked in the bathroom with an old Eastenders annual open at the Dot Cotton page..........
Operation Blair Witch Project - complete!
Laird!
I detest Blair but the question asking if he was culpable was too far. Every single bullet fired in Iraq and Afghanistan was justified. After 9/11 the gloves were off and long may the military reek havoc on those who wish to repeat 9/11 and 7/7.
Was the depleted uranium our wonderful lads dropped on civilians in Fallujah a justified response? Why was Iraq (a relatively secular anti al Qaeda country) attacked and not Saudi Arabia (from which the hijackers came and where they had learned to hate the West). Face it the troops were being used as mere pawns in a wider geopolitical agenda and would have attacked whoever they were ordered to by their corporate masters...
Delusional

@@irateindividual8086 Someone dropped depleted uranium on civilians in Iraq? Do you even proof-read your comments before posting? You have the right to an opinion, but regardless of whether you're right or wrong, Tony Blair and George W. Bush are sane politicians defending their interests.
You're too busy trying to sound like Kremlin propaganda that you don't realize it's relatively easy to fact check your claims and easily disprove them.
No serious person will consider you to be credible when you lie with impunity and make a bad attempt at revising history. The US and the UK have a historical pattern of imperialism and backing coup d'etat to defend their business and foreign interest.
It shouldn't a difficult endeavor to identify alleged war crimes in Iraq, or identify a hypocritical foreign policy from the oldest liberal democracies in the West.
If you truly wanted politicians in the West held accountable for destabilizing the Middle East with the War on Terror and Arab Spring, you would make your case using facts.
