I blend up all my dried eggshells in the blender into a powder and store them in containers. They break down almost immediately in the garden. I save some that are smaller pieces to sprinkle on top around new plants for cutworms. Texas Deb ❤️
I’ve always dry the shells then when the membrane is dry I bag up the shells and take the rolling pin to crush the shells. They’re bagged and tagged then to the garden. Enjoying your videos,keep up the good work!

We have a mini pig that is 4 yrs old, his name is Bacon and he is maybe a 1/4 of the size of your pigs. 😊 it’s all in how you feed them. You want them to stay small then you feed them mini pig food, never over feed and don’t feed them table scraps. Would send you a picture of him but can’t on this channel. I even built him a dog house!

Boil crushed egg shells in mild vinegar water. Let cool, as it cools it will separate and you can mix the shell dust with soil, and use the water on tomatoes sparingly. It's great for tomatoes. Been doing it for years. Save money and produces tomatoes with no end rot

That's a bunchbof eggs lol. You are lucky they have been laying so much all Winter. Most take a break and lay very few if any at all. Someone going to be doing lots of cooking and baking! Chickens really are fun to watch and actually pretty relaxing. The shells ground up are good for the chickens as a source of protein but people use shells in coffee grinds to make coffee smooth supposedly and yes eventually in gardens too. Farm life lots of fun. Watching you and Rae build up a new farm will be fun. Very happy for you both and the kids.
