That precious little Adler caught his first fish, such a precious little fella!
I feel your pain. I'm still in physical therapy from my second surgery, (not on the same shoulder). Get a good therapist and adhere to his instructions. Now my injuries were my bicep located at the shoulder, one was worse than the other so consequently it is not healing as well. Years of hard work and my age don't aid my recovery. May God bless you and your new combined family. My prayers will include you and yours.
Chad I think that slowing down is something we should all try to do, smell the flower's and enjoy your life with family and friends speedy recovery 😁
Remember when nothing was open on Sundays? (Sorry not sure how old you are) I'm showing my age and it may have been my town. But people visited on Sundays had big family meals on Sunday. We did all of our house cleaning and yard work on Saturday so Sundays were for going to granmas or staying home and relaxing.
@@teresafurr5601 yes I do remember those days well and my family still devotes a day to visit with me every weekend and on the other days I visit with friends some whom I have maintained relationships with for over 50 yrs. 😊now

My grandparents lived three hours away from us so when we went to visit dad would go to town and fill up the gas tank so we could get back home Sunday after we went to church and had a big lunch with my grandparents and all of my cousins would come out too. I really miss those days .. (I’m 70 )

Absolutely loved watching Adler catching his first two fish. He has the landing down perfect!!! Prayers for your surgery on Monday. Please listen to the Dr.'s instructions for post surgery. This comes from a person who has had 19 surgeries, most of them were orthopedic. I did not always follow Dr instructions and now I pay the price. Not having any more shoulder or knee replacement surgeries. I don't care how bad I hurt now. Do what they say!!!!!

Good luck with you surgery, I have have an external Fixator from hip to hip from a shattered pelvis on February 26 I have another few weeks before it’s removed. Hang in there follow dr’s orders and you’ll be back to 100 % prayers coming your way.

Watching Adler fishing at that age reminds me of my daughter when she was little. My brother use to take her fishing and she still loves it when she can. She and my brother have both taught my grandson although it's not so much his thing lol. Will keep you in my prayers and send good vibes for the surgery. Slowing down is a good thing specially so you heal properly.

I feel for you Chad! I have a torn meniscus and ACL that need surgery. Be careful and slow down!!! We get older we get wiser and tend to fall apart easier.

Hope you saw the video on Cog Hill about the idea they were given by a friend about sliding a cast iron pipe over a t-post and then using the tractor bucket to push it into the ground. The pipe kept the t-post from bending, saved them time and exertion, and accomplished the fencing in next to no time. Save your back and body from damage. Feel better soon.

Praying for a speedy recovery. Follow all of what the doctor tells you. Start physical therapy as soon as possible and adhere to it. Will be daunting but it will pay off.

Lol. My little one grabs a rock almost every time we go outside and she loves em too. We have a bucket that we end up putting them in when she’s bored with it. Then we put them back later just for her to find them again. lol. Such a cutie!!!

Fabulous!! Great to see this interaction. Adler is trying his wings all the time. I admire that. Requires a delicate balance on your part to regulate that, and not stifle his enthusiasm. Torn biceps are no joke. I tore mine from the bone and ripped it up, it rolled down into my arm.. They had to dig it out sew it together and screw it to the bone. However, I was holding my 6 mo. Old and fell.. To protect her I turned as going down and took the fall and she didn't even have a scratch. At least she was fine. Do what they tell you, 2 yrs later Im STILL trying to recover and will require additional surgery. So LISTEN TO YOUR DR!!!

Sending prayers that all goes fantastic with your surgery Chad and you have a great recovery and follow all your doctor's orders and have no lingering effects from it I pray that you have complete healing from this injury. Also as you said take your advice and slow down a little bit and ask for help remember you have a family now it's not just you and the boys you have a complete family now don't be the he-man you used to be stopping to consider your options and ask for the help that's needed is not a bad thing it's not showing weakness it's just showing there's more than one way to do things asking for help is not a bad thing I will definitely be praying for you. I have total empathy for what you’re going through. These injuries require a lot of time to heal. You’re fortunate that you’re going to be able to get the tissue secured to the radius & will heal over time. My injury to the right ankle left me with a totally retracted tendon & almost completely severed ligament. It was a mess, but with military boots & braces I can do about anything I can tackle. It’s great you got treatment right away. My initial doc thought it was a severe sprain, it wasn’t. There’s never a good time for any injury, but God has your six! Take the time & do layouts of what you & Rae are looking for on your new farm! God bless for all of your family, praying for complete recovery!

Chad, you crack me up. You said your buddies did the same thing you did. I immediately saw in my head they stopped an alpaca with one hand and tore their muscle loose. And you didn’t learn from their mistake? Then my brain jumped off the absurd train and I am sorry you are going thru this. As strong as we are in our youth, the body is a complex yet fragile machine. Thank God he created us as repairable. Prayers for quick healing.

About 18 months ago I had rotator cuff and bicep surgery. Surgery was easy and recovery was a piece of cake. And, yes, I followed doctors orders. So you'll be fine. Praying for a speedy recovery for you. God Bless
