My passenger side dlr (c-light and gills) stopped working after just 3.5 weeks of install…and yes fuses and cables were good. Still waiting for subispeed for customer service.
3 years later after you posted this video. Im curious how are these lights holding up? I have a 18 limited one headlight wnent out and Subaru wants $1,400 for just one headlight replacement. Its factory sealed and cant just replace a bulb. Also do you have any recommendations on headlights that i can purchase that allows me to replace the bulbs ?
I don't own this vehicle anymore. I sold it shortly after this video was made. But a freind purchased it and hadn't said anything about the headlights failing or otherwise.
What about adjusting the headlight? Do they line up as far as aimed in the proper spot on the road and not at peoples face? Or is that all already set already on the car?
I mention the adjustment area at the very end. It has a broad range from blinding oncoming traffic to aiming only on the ground a few feet ahead. Pretty decent range of adjustment. I recommend parking 10 feet from a wall to do adjustments to make the beams even with each other.
When they aren’t on, how much of the yellow/amber is visble on the c light section? Some pics make it seem like the c light is a yellow color when turned off
I've got a 2015 WRX Premium, aftermarket Grimmspeed Stealthbox intake. I've heard you might have to trim the aftermarket shield to fit these? Any idea if that is true or not? I'm a complete noob when it comes to cars! I had my friend help with the intake. Also, how difficult would you say these would be to put in for someone with little to no knowledge about installing mods or working on cars in general? D:
I honestly don't know if you would have to trim that intake or not, sorry. The installation of these headlights are pretty easy, especially if you have a friend who is slightly more knowledgeable about cars.
I wouldn't say disposable. Unlike Halogen and other bulbs. LED will take an insane amount of time to "Burn out". It's almost impossible for these headlights to go out. And if they somehow managed to. SubiSpeed would Warrenty your product.
@@Mikey6048 But 5 years from purchase your 1200 dollar headlights stop working and they are going to send you new ones? I think not. Any headlight that doesn't accept industry standard bulbs is a no go in my book as they are disposable.
@@jamesg8246 It's a sealed unit to prevent moisture, but I understand your concern. It's definitely a point to consider when purchasing these headlights.
I bought some cheaper led tails for my Jetta, 8 years later they all still work. Leds are insane and honestly I’ve never seen an led burn out honestly.
Hey man I'm about to possibly purchase these myself. I just want to know and understand something and I'm hoping you can help. Do these not have a high beams? I don't see any noticeable difference on your video whenever you click the high beams on and I find that really odd that they wouldn't have a high beam and low beam as that makes a big difference on backcountry dark roads. I understand they're bright but not as bright as they would be if they had high beams?
I installed these yesterday on my 19 STI hooked everything up properly just didn't use add a fuse as the 18+ have DRLs and shouldn't need the extra connection but I can't use sequential as it flashes really quick I installed the hyper flash module it doesn't help the issue if I turn them on non sequential they work fine any idea on what to do?
@@Mikey6048 yes I have their v2 tail lights I fixed the issue the hyper flash module wasn't good enough I had to go to AutoZone and buy another one and it solved the issue
@@Mikey6048 yeah I did yesterday but when they get back with me I'll update them that I fixed it with another one and that the included one didn't work
Just curious are these compatible with the 2015 wrx? Because it does state on the website but when you scroll down in the description it says for 2018+ soo I’m a bit confused, thanks!
Yes they will fit a 2015-2020 WRX. The problem is the harness on the SubiSpeed Headlights are 12 pin. The 2018+ STI is 14 pin (I believe). Because it has steering tracking headlights. They won't work on 2018+ STI. I will update my video title. I can see how that is confusing now.
Yeah think I just got screwed over cause the ones I have say it works for STI 18+ and I have a 2020 and it doesn’t look like that connector is gonna fit
Awesome video. 🔥 Thanks for covering the adjustment screws as well.
Sorry about the damaged bracket. Appreciate your understanding! 🙏
No, thank you for your amazing customer service and an incredible product. I get compliments on them all the time!

I just said fuck it and bought these lol thanks for being one of the only actual reviews on the redlines. Damn I hope I like um!!!
You'll love them. My friend says he gets compliments all the time about them.
Thanks for showing the 10mm adjustment for headlights, my lights running to high to adjust them down, great video
Glad it helped!
Amazing car and epic video quality bro! Keep em coming!
Thanks. 6 hours editing. I need to learn faster. Lol
Your car is goals brother!
Thanks man. I can't wait for my new wheels to come in, In February. Hopefully some more parts in the next month or so.

Where can I buy that harness for the fog lights please? I need it brooo
Too bad the steering response lighting doesn't work with aftermarket lights. That's a huge feature taken away no one ever mentions about these lights.
You are right. I never had that feature so I don't know what I would be missing.
