Interesting! When I was a child a mature women wore their hair up in buns, rolls, braids, twists. When ever she left her hair down after her styling we only have to roll up the length. These hair styles are modified older styles. So I think these are styles for you!

I'm someone who has the exact same hair type as you. I've been a licensed NYS cosmetologist for almost 30 years already. I love the advice your giving to women with our hair type because it's the same as I would give. I almost always shower at night and what I usually do is let my hair air dry for the most part and believe me it doesn't take long but once it's dry I will spray a little bit of dry shampoo at the roots and then I'll twist my hair not quite on top of my head but just below the top near the back and I'll twist it all the way down and then using a cotton scrunchie I'll wrap it around 2 times even though it will go around 3 or 4, but 2 times and lay down on my back and in the morning after I wash my face and get dressed ect I will take it down and just shake it out and barely run my fingers through it and then use an extremely soft mist ozone safe hair spray and believe it or not it will have volume that lasts longer than I expected!!! Try it

Well your hair is gorgeous and you are very talented with hair styling and thanks for the tip. I have blonde thin hair and also I shaved the bottom to hopefully make it thicker so while I'm waiting for it to grow out my hair is definitely thin so this helps a lot

I have such thin, fine hair I now wear a wig or a topper. I've given up on it. It looks pretty good if it's first combed & curled, but the curls fall out fast & any kind of wind messes it up. I hate fine hair, it's a curse.

One more thing. Highlights and lowlights are not a bad thing. Don't go thick but just a small amount is going to help give your fine thin hair volume. We call it ruffing it up and it helps

My hair doesn’t even curl so I’m guessing these hairstyle probably won’t work for me.(got super fine and thin hair) To give people and idea of how hard my hair is to do anything with, I was at a party a few years ago, and they had loads of professional hair dressers Doing hair. So all the other girls had gorgeous fancy hairstyles, but my hair wouldn’t hold any of it so they decided to put my hair in a bun, but it kept falling out. So everyone’s hair took like 30 min but mine took an hour 🤦🏼♀️ a ton of hairspray and spray gels were used just to get this bun to stay in my head. And when I got home I discovered it was just a knotty mess shaped into a bun, that’s how it was staying up. Very long a painful brushing session 😩
Is your hair colored? I find that heavy highlights, while basically torturing my hair, gives it texture and body. Also, have you ever tried any if those powders they sell? Or dry shampoo?

Thank you Angelica! I used to have full out dark hair too and I found braids and certain styles wouldn't stand out as much. If you're concerned about getting some based on your hair type maybe consult with you stylist before and see what they recommend! That's why I went for minimal highlights this time around, because I was nervous of breakage.

Hi! I would recommend having a consultation with a professional stylist because they would know a lot better than I would about what colour works for certain skin tones! They can also suggest what to do based on your hair type - a lot of salons offer free consultations too! :)
My hair is thin and it falls out of any hairstyle. I just can't keep it the way I want it to be. My hair is very smooth and individual hairs are very light so that is why they just fly around. Do you have any tips?

I don't use hairspray very often but if I do I usually use Herbal Essences or Pantene. Maybe try something with a very flexible hold, because that won't leave your hair as 'crunchy' feeling.
I don't know how my hair is described, but clearly not pins, nor tirintas (braids) stick to my hair, they say its smooth and slippery(?) but i hope this works

the thing is these haistyles are done on already styled with a hot tool hair which makes it pointless..when hair is curled with an iron anything you do to it looks great no matter what

You seem to have thin but coarse hair. Not fine hair. So the title is a bit misleading. I love your hairstyles, but, for instance, a French braid is much harder to secure on fine hair than on coarse hair, so for me with fine hair it's not workable.

They are all heatless because you do not need to use any heat tools to achieve any one of these styles - I had leftover waves from the day before. :)
