As someone who's seen them 5+ times, this isn't one of their best performances, of course not. But that shouldn't discourage any of you from listening to them & assuming because this one performance is lacking that they're suddenly talentless. That wouldn't be fair. They're amazing every time I see them.

Yes, Beau and Jarod don't sound amazing but you have to realize that 1. the sound is straight from the desk, everything sounds different when you're in the crowd, I know from experience. 2. When you're a full time touring band, this thing will happen at many shows, it's happened to me countless times from too many shows, have to cut them some slack, everyone has bad days.

Another thing too is you have to imagine these guys are doing this tour the whole length through, which would destroy anyones vocal chords. Touring is no joke.

Warped tour is a hell of a tour. Notice that a lot of bands seem to be holding back live. They're trying to preserve their energy for the entire summer. If Jared and Beau were to push themselves they'd be dead by the end of their set. You try playing a show every day out in a 100 degree weather. It's not easy. Not to mention everyone at warped is crazy in the pits. So when you're actually there watching the band live you carried away with the music, moshing, crowd surfing, etc...these guys are hella talented but cut them some slack. What they do with their voices on a daily basis isn't easy and unlike Justin Bieber and a lot of celebrities, these bands don't do too much back tracking. So what you see is what you get.
I can see that. I have definitely noticed bands like MMF vocaly sound much better in the fall/ winter season when its indoors. I'm sure the heat takes a tole, especially day after day.
