Honestly, he's better here than most performances I've seen recorded. What's going on with Matt's drumming and the entire sound mix of Wishful Sinking, and the guitars are lower than they should be throughout the entire set.
True, but something's definitely a little off about Matt's playing in Wishful Sinking. Parts of the double-bass are messy and sound like lack of practice on his part.
Nick Adams Probably just an off day for him, I’ve seen them 11 times and they’re consistently good live, the sound guy was just slacking hard, plus bands always sound worse at big outdoor fests, especially the vocals. Beau sounds so much better at small, indoor venues. The whole “lip sync” thing was just a backtracked vocal harmony that was way too loud in the mix, again, and issue with the sound guy, not the band.
Beau is a good singer. I dunno what the hates about, there doing it and ya can't have purfect live performance every time . tho the drummer is bit off, maybe his trigger is miss firing...?!?! Also I'm pretty sure the mix of the bass and guitars would sound different actually being there compared to a recording. AND beua is doing some dirty vox which is awesine to hear!!!

I love blessthefall I've seen them live in Charlotte they were amazing but i think they just need to practice a little more with the new album. Wishful sinking wasn't the greatest live but cutthroat was better but still needs work then hollow bodies was perfect. They will get better with the new songs blessthefall is still amazing and my favorite band since they released his last walk

Beau can't really sing anymore. During the first few years with blessthefall he actually sounded like how he would in the studio 😞 Craig Mabbitt, the original singer to this day still knows how to maintain his vocal chords with his time as the now frontman of Escape The Fate 👏

Or the company that hires people without sense of hearing, without musical/technical passion and most importantly zero knowledge about mixing live sound. Frontman maybe, but I've seen them several times and Beau has NEVER sounded good. He puts on a great show but his vocal ability severely suffers. I don't think I've ever heard a good vocal performance from him.

Im only complaining about the sound, they play fine.... The soundguys are responsible for that. Anyone mixing their sound and getting payed for it should do a better job. Im not saying its easy but if your band had one the worst mixes on a whole festival things can improve there.
