I really want that damaged cloth cape to pair with my OWK Damaged Vader. Dont really care for the figure for my collection, its cool but I like how I can keep my OWK Vader clean but switch him up to a damaged look without having 2 figures taking up space. I applaud anyone who can fit and afford multiple versions of the same character in their collection!
That little piece is an optional look you can add to head sculpt look right next to the right side tusk. You can have headsculpt look as if the whole top part is removed or add that little piece to show that it was destroyed off of his face. Pretty cool!

First time in 5 years i'm so excited about new reveal. I was looking at his pictures the whole day when they were posted. Didn't like the Kenobi version, but this one is just gorgeous, already preordered deluxe special, I will display him with half face mask, it's just so Force Unleashed (and keep deluxe headsculpt just in case, there's definitely more effort in this figure than usual, so I want to change options some times) Beautiful, absolutely beautiful
I don’t know, I think if they used pleather for this Vader, it might’ve worked in the figures favor. On the owk Vader, if the pleather flaked and if you are displaying him in his damaged look, the flaking pleather would’ve blended in with the look. If you displayed him in his non damage appearance, it wouldn’t work. If pleather flaked on a battle damaged Vader would actually work and add to the damaged look. Only in this scenario they may could’ve used pleather, I still hate pleather, but I think this is one of the few times where the flaking pleather would work in favor of the figure.
Why would you want a figure to degrade? Sure it would blend in more than other figures, but if you can avoid a suit literally decomposing idk why you wouldn't want that
@@NOTNAFilms hot toys is too lazy to try any other materials, like they’re using pleather as a way of getting out of sculpting the boots or belt and trying a different material for the body suit. For the price of these figures as they are, hot toys should not be using shitty materials that will deteriorate. It’s like they’re using pleather as a built in guarantee that you’ll buy another figure from them, which is an unethical way of business. We just want to buy these figures, pose them, put them in a cabinet, and not have to worry about anything. In the case of this figure, I think pleather body suit would work in this figures favor, I’m not saying I would want them to keep using pleather, because fuck that shit, they need to stop being lazy, stop using pleather, try different materials, and stop this unethical way of business. I would like to hear the excuse of why they use pleather so much, I want to hear how bad it is.

I think it's really weird that the Hayden under the damaged domed sculpt is different than the Hayden under the damaged un-domed sculpt. It looks like 2 entirely different people under the helmets, where the domed sculpt looks much more like Hayden. Just a small nitpick for an otherwise incredible figure.
Thats the point. The head on display is the Kenobi head. The other damaged helmet is for the proper depiction of when this look occurs in The Force Unleashed.

I can see what you're saying, but the figure doesn't even match how he looked at the end of the game either. This is much more reminiscent of the Darth Vader Mythos statues that released a while ago. In either case, whatever the point was, I'd argue for the "better" Hayden likeness on both sculpts.

I don’t get it. They are making enough different versions of Vader, not the same figure over and over again. So, why in gods name are they still doing pleather for the most part? It’s not like they are building in the need to replace them when they get damaged. They are different figures.

One clean Vader, and one with some sort of damage, should be enough for folks (like me) who are not Vader fanatics, no? Then there is the Kenobi Vader, a mix with options for clean or somewhat damaged. So if I want one 'clean' and one 'damaged', what do I go for? Decisions, decisions.
