I had a cat called Mimi she was my first pet my Mum had her before me, so when she died I was about 14 and Mimi was 19 bless her. I just got home from school was given the news that she'd passed and I remember walking up to my room

I'm 39 and I have an old Russell Terrier Toby asleep next to me now he's 15 and he's aging fast and he has suspected lymphoma I have another vets appointment coming soon when I have to take him in pre sedated so they can take a look in his mouth. He wouldn't let them on the 1st visit, anyhow I know the time is coming we all die, I know this but I've dreaded the day for a while. I Love this dog like a child and it's going to totally break my heart when I lose him.

When the time comes for Toby I've promised myself that I will be there with him holding his paw in his last moments, it's the least I can do as he's always been there for me and he got me through a rough time in life.
He hates the vets too so I need to be there for him even though its going to be heart breaking.
