In my opinion this song is completely about their journey since debut, their hardships, their struggles, how they over came it. Their happiness during wins and concerts seeing the support. Always walking towards their path despite their problems realising how impoyit is to believe in themselves and continue looking at their goals even if it is a bit far.
Cause even if they haven't reached for what they were aiming they can still see the journey and feel strong of how far they have come.
This songs lyrics is dedicated to their own selves making sure they see their goal and work towards it with Back straight in confidence. (A person who has faced numerous calamities and knows they are not wavered by it carries those memories with Confidence cause it gave them experience to life) life lessons which gave them tears but also brought them closer to their achievements.
A steady pace is always better rather than stopping. (Remember Lyrics of Compass it is also similar to it)
It's the journey that gives a person the satisfaction they desire more then the goal.
They have embraced everything and are walking forward on their own path with Confidence.

I think this has to be the dance choreography that showcase their highest potential as amazing dancers with mindblowing synchronicity.
They're already vocally excellent and this time, they created a song which has a unique sound and still stood out to me and I liked it a lot.
The award shows are missing a lot here. Golden Child who released diversed songs since 2017 deserve to be on top. The fact that they always risk to show us something new deserved all the applause. Golcha is the best group no one can change my mind.

It's not that easy to try the jack swing genre but the fact that they nailed this just proves how golcha are versatile. They are truly a music chameleon.

People say this music style is called jack swing, which is interesting since not many kpop groups use this genre (or maybe I just don’t listen to enough groups) but it just shows how Golden Child always goes out of their comfort zone to experiment with and create new music. And the result is always amazing, their songs just age like fine wine ✨

Based on DDARA's lyrics, I'm starting to believe this might be the antithesis of their previous title track, WANNABE. Golden Child was struggling before, striving so hard to be perfect, so that they could stand out among the ocean of K-Pop gems, it didn't matter how they would do it, thus the lyrics of "I WANNABE YOU" fits, and now, we come to DDARA where they will instead follow who they are or take their time on their own pace, "YEAH, THIS IS HOW WE DO IT" and this couldn't get even more obvious when TAG and Jangjun destroy the statues around 3:36-3:40, which are (I mean the statues) literally everywhere in WANNABE M/V. Oh, this is just my two cents, haha.

This song is really unique, they did something so original that I can't describe a reaction to how I feel about it right now. It's AMAZING.
i showed this song to my brother that sometimes do an instrumental remake of a kpop song. he said this song sounds simple but actually has a lot of layers and details that are not easy to make. he said most of woollim songs are not easy. that shows the quality of woollim.

It's a cool "empty" kind of production, it highlights the vocals with harmonizing and a strong bass line + other elements. it's like every different sound is floating around in a way so it feels very dreamy. imo it's a very "aesthetic" music style and I'm a nerd for it, so glad golcha tried it out, it really suits them

Ddara is so different from their other tracks but also has that distinct golcha vibe. It's uniquely dark, a bit more mellow but smooth, sexy and elegant which is their trademark already.
I think this would be one of the songs that you won't get tired of easily and is already catchy from the first listen but will still grow more the more you listen to it. Golden Child discography never disappoints!

Also the choreo compliments the song really nicely, there's also a mix of graceful and powerful movements...the synchronization will be mind-blowing in the live stages! Donghyun completely embraced his center parts with his sharp dancing
Apart from the fantastic song, I have to compliment the stylists a lot. First of all the chosen haircolours fit the members perfectly: Sungyoon's grayish hair, Daeyeol in a blueish tone, Joochan in his lighter hazelnut (which kinda looks like rose-gold), Jangjun's debut colour, Bomin with little details and Seungmin still nailing his red hair...the list goes on
I already complimented their outfits a lot, but these "gentleman" outfits are just beyond stunning! Meanwhile they look like walking "Without you" albums in the other suits, they have the exact same pattern haha! Still gorgeous tho
They all shined so much! Had a mental breakdown everytime Sungyoon apeared...he's always embodying these elegant concepts, but Jibeom also looked ridiculously (!!) good (just like the rest)

I first get to know Golden Child from the advertisement in RUclips. I heard their sons and check out 'Ddara' and I was surprised that such a talented group was not recognized to many people.
I came across Jangjun interview with Youngk in "Ssap possible?" and their variety show in Weekly Idol recently. I found them so charming and interesting.
Will check out more of them ^_^

I am absolutely floored in the best possible way. Ddara gives me throwback 2nd gen vibes with the simplistic style of the music videos, and all the goodness that comes along with that nostalgia! Yet another song with an interesting composition that leaves listeners wanting for more. I also really love the mixing here--there's some layering but it doesn't remove the very core of GolCha's distinct voices. And who could resist that leg-whip choreography? Literally stole my breath away every time they danced to it. Thank you Golden Child for another amazing track!
