NEW MECHA MADE FROM SCRATCH- Kallamity "RDW"

- Опубликовано: 12 ноя 2022
- This is Kallamity's new effort, a very specific and detailed 1:35 scale mech, movable, cockpit, pilot, all hatches open. It took four months for sculpting the 235 parts (circa) that compose this huge kit (29 cm tall) and that will become a Garage Kit in 2023. Stay tuned for Part 2 where I'll show full 360° videos and weapon options in details.

I think it would be funny if this guy buried his notes in a time capsule so archeologists would lose their minds thousands of years later
if we have a reset of our civilization then yes, if no, then we most likely to be at this technological level
@@Fantamanas It's coming.
There's kitbashing, and then there's a Kallamity Build. I've been a fan for years, purchased the first Kallamity book, and it's definitely a treat to see a new model. The format of this video, whereby we see step-by-step progress and your actual sketches is the cherry on top.
My word that thing is Beautiful
oooooooooo CAN'T WAIT!!!
cool...thank you for uploading it.
AWESOME.
Absolutely sick
the detail and movable parts are staggering, i love your work
Thanks 🙏
Holy moly! Lack of words!
Thank you!
this makes me soo happy to see a DIY model making video like this, I've been contemplating on getting into Styrene forming, as that material is not too forgiving if you mess something up, but it give credence to creativity in levels that professional model kits hold near and dear to their harts. I love this!!
Just gorgeous, as always. I love how it's kind of broken up as the waist down, and the waist up, like the legs have their own power source behind the hips, and the top is another "system"... I would think in reality that would make a lot of sense. So cool.
Not only are you an amazing and creative designer, but you are still able to find the humility in the work.... like the pictures of the insect head, frog and coffee pot... never stop. You're awesome
Masterpiece!
SO BEAUTIFULL!!!
A fascinating video
Thats Wicked
もうカッコいい
真似しようとしても出来そうにない
高い技術と情熱に圧倒されます
Since i tried scratch/kitbashing robots with pices that i had laying around i've been a fan of it and although i never finished one I liked the building process sooo much,ok going to the point, i like robots, i like kitbashing, this video is friking art to me, i love it and would love to keep watching you making robots from basically air

Very nice video, so creative.
Astounding work as usual!
Mad skills and artistic vision.
You are insane... ROCK ON!
Thank you for sharing! Those mechanical breakdown design sketches you show at the beginning are just amazing- I never realized the level of detail you had already figured out on paper with each of these builds!
Incredible work!
Incredible. Watching these videos reminds me of what is possible. It is such a pleasure to see your entire process Luca. A FREE masterclass on mech building. Hopefully someday I can create my own mech quarter as good as this! ❤️
Inspirational!
Man, man, man - that’s frickin cool! True craftsmanship and Art ❤
I hadn’t seen your Build diary so far. Way cool 😎
Beautiful work as always !
That is just an amazing way for you to produce and sculpt/build this new mech. Thank you for sharing your process with us and I'm hoping to pick up my first Kallamity kit when you release it.
So awesome!
Wow! Just wow, I'm speechless! It's another breathtaking work!
Man o man, I know people would die to get your work as actual figures, all of your work is just PERFECT!
Awesome!❤
wooooooow!
Oh man this is absolutely fantastic. You outdo yourself every time. I thought the Otter was my favorite, but this is definitely giving it a run for it's money.
Concept, build and music is top tier
Thanks!
I love your creativity and the craftsmanship that goes into each and every one of these.
This video format is really great and I hope you continue to improve your videos and the way you present your works of art.
You are a great inspiration for me.
I sculpt using 3d and the the function mirror. This hurst my brain. The amount of time and love and dedication its incredible. Well done sir. You are an inspiration to me to become a better artist. I can allways improve my sculpt and add more details.
Always happy to recei congratulations from 3D sculptors. I used to 3D sculpt too but I didn’t feel the same feeling. But just my personal taste. I love 3D sculpting too
@@KALLAMITY2288 yes I agree, nothing replace having your 3d sculpt in your hand. I used to paint with oils and I miss the smell of oils and the feeling of mixing them. My nephew loved your video.
omfg this is exactly what I want to get into, I am really thinking about buying a 3D printer and going heavy into custom mech making. I was always too afraid that what I make would be trash and a waste of time, but seeing you make these gives me confidence that if I where to do this, the end results will actually be worth while! Thank you for showing me it can be done, and done amazingly!
Incredibly realistic! A very good job....
Well this is super cool. Just seeing you scratch build this stuff is incredible.
I dont think I've ever wanted a thing more and this is my first video, you got yourself a subscriber
Best !!!!!
this is amazing!! You are incredible! I can't wait to see what you do next! Keep up the great work
Lol the coffee pot in the middle of the video 😂
God... This is a insane work! I'm watching an project from you for the first time, wow, really love it!
Congratulations for your dedication!
Un cazzo di capolavoro!
This is the first video I've seen from you and I have to say that is simply amazing. Not just the build itself but the design manual at the end. I've subbed and can't wait to see part 2.
Thank you so much🙏
I own a Schnabelgun and it's a treasure :)
Bellissimo! Complimenti lavoro eccezionale e ricchissimo di dettagli! Ammiazione massima!
Bellissimo. Grande "K"!

Duude.. that's pretty awesome. I love your sketch workbook part of the video.

You're so inspiring, I wish I could do the same thing. Awesome 🤗👌
Luca is amazing! I will let my Japanese friends know. I am always in awe of your wonderful designs. I'm looking forward to part2.
Thank you my friend. I respect and enjoy your videos a lot too 🙏. Thank you so much for watching and sharing my videos.
I’m just in awe of how organic and yet how meticulous your creative process seems.
This totally takes me back to the mid 80s Heavy Metal illustrations that blew my young mind and made me a life long mecha-file.
10/10, bro!
We’re talking the same language man!
I just shared your vid on the Paint On Plastic discord… I can’t say how inspiring I find watching your work!
Quick one: are you using a glue to hold together the stacks of plaplate once have them pinned and start shaping?
Pipe bowls as boosters, nice😊
Love to see it!! Reminds me of the pog champ lizard when the cockpit is open! Lol I need a walk through on how to make tiny hinges for open hatch type gimmicks!
This is next level stuff.. man, the design and modelling is exceptional!
Thank you 🙏 just subscribed your channel 😉
@@KALLAMITY2288 😵💫

Dude!!! I absolutely love it!!! Amazing skill set. Congratulations on another model triumph!!! I have your Briegel its Awesome. Big fan! I'm hoping this design becomes available. Thanks for creating such a fascinating world!
Yes it’s going to be a kit. Thank you for getting a Briegel, this is sort of “new generation “ of designs.
Sei un mito!!!!!!
Mas que bela obra de arte vc fez, ta de parabéns.
Muchas gracias 🙏
すごい👍
@ 4:02 should have a picture of a vintage hand crank video camera next to it.
Oh yes true, forgot about it
Fantastic work as always Luca! I almost feel ashamed that I still have the Garbaldy kit still in the box (what is it now, 14 years since you released it?). I should get around building it. Such a beautiful kit.
great seeing some of the steps and documentation as you go thru a project. i watched at 1/4 speed and still had to pause often. when is unedited 60 hour version dropping?
Would you consider doing tutorial on how to make mech using hobby shop supplies and tools,I would love to follow what you do at home?
I’m not good at tutorials sorry, although if you pay attention there are tons of procedures, techniques, tools and tips in my videos
amazing work! can't wait for the Garage Kit!
Will the pre-order be on your website sometime later this year?
Man this work is so intricate, so good!! What other less conventional tools/measurement tools do you use? Its a first for me to see a modeller using a lathe lol
Thank you so much, glad you like!🙏❤️
Lathe: probably you don’t know actual modelers 😅😅
А кабина похожа на пасть червя из "дрожь земли"
hello luca !
So many different parts and complex shapes - amazing!
I could never have that patience.
Bonus points for the funny pictures.
What's that thing at the lower back supposed to be?
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the project! Lower back…. : the rotary engine?
@@KALLAMITY2288 Oh, an engine. Makes sense. I thought it was some kind of loading bay to attach gear or something.
Sheesh! Look at all those high-quality sketches! Are you a legit engineer?
Eh? You've (Added) More detail in one foot then I have in a whole regiment of Grimdark Space Elves with bits tacked on, fantastic work very curious to see where it'll end up.
Thanks 🙏
WAIT THIS IS GONNA BE A GARAGE KIT TOO?!
yep
@@KALLAMITY2288 Cool I also went to your website and saw your kits. I had no idea you sold them. I sent an injury about them there.
