    Great video mate.
Just gotta say for those of you doing your first engine builds. Measure everything if your replacing bearings etc.
Make sure the clearances are correct. If your going to tear an engine down clean everything til you could eat off it then clean it again.
If you are going to clean off your deck surfaces don't do it with any of the rotating bits still in the block. It's easy for grit and crud etc to get down beside the piston and cylinder wall.
Not here to have a go at anything done here , it's not my engine. But if your going this far you don't wanna pull the engine back out if it's scored the bores or the bearings are too tight or it's got low oil pressure.
Good luck lads . Hope to see how this engine turns out once it's running.

Thanks for watching and for the rad comment!
You're absolutely right! This build took so long to finish because i had to clean and check over and over again. The cams and rockers were filthy from being left on my bench for weeks, even though they were covered they were still filthy from dirt and dust. I realized when i was using the finishing stone on the deck it would've been better to finish it when the pistons were out, after replacing the rod bolts so many times i didn't want to remove everything again, so i had to spend almost an entire day cleaning the bores.
I don't want to mislead anyone, I'm definitely not an experienced engine builder or mechanic, i just want to learn and its comments like this that help myself and others watching!
      Thanks again!

Nice work mate! Thanks for uploading.
I’m building a bf xr6t circuit car at the minute. Really going back and forth on doing the ring gaps. It’s a job I could handle easy I’m just not sure it’s required for 350ish rwkw (through a T56) I’m aiming for. I do have two spare green tops on the shelf, I’m torn as part of me doesn’t want to blow it up when I’m out and Winton or the island and waste half a day, and the other half doesn’t want to let the magic out of a $204 Jollys special 😄
