Eggs probably made your hair feel dry because its a protein treatment meant to strengthen the hair, not moisturize or soften it. I used to be quite sensitive to protein so egg, soy sauce, and rice water treatments always left my hair brittle, hard, and dry. @Dowse sidir or Sidr is green leaves and works like cleansing soap for hair and body ..It removes dandruff, oils from the scalp (good for oily hair) also you can use it for hair growth.. nowadays you find it as powder and can use it alone or added to Henna .. and if your hair is so dry you will add some oil before using it ..
What a brilliant idea to start applying the henna at the crown of your head and keep rapping the rest of your hair there. I’m definitely doing it your way from now on. Thank you 🙏🏾 💕!
Great video! I love henna in my hair! For added moisture, I like to add aloe vera powder to the henna mix. Also, a pro tip for those trying henna for the first time, rinse it out with a co-wash or cheapie conditioner. It really helps to rinse out the henna easier. My next henna treatment is happening this coming weekend! It's a messy process, but the resulting hair is worth it! :)

I love your videos. Please continue to share it and yes, I’m interested in learning all about henna. I actually purchased all the ingredients for the fenugreek oil, but waiting for time to cook it. The only thing I ask is to please list the ingredients and amounts in the description. Thanks 🙏🏽
Hello! Apologies for such a late reply. Do you need the ingredients and amounts for the fenugreek oil as well? If so, I just updated the description box for that video with ingredients and instructions. And I'll make sure to add ingredient lists to my future videos as well. Thank you
Many thanks for responding, but I tried just the soaking the fenugreek in water method first before I made the oil. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take the smell. It was too strong of a curry smell and the odor was offensive to both me and my family. Because I now purchased all the other ingredients to make the oil, I’m trying to figure out if I can just use these all as a mask or pre-poo and wondered if my hair would benefit from that type of treatment since I’ll have to shampoo that smell out of my hair after. I also got an idea from another person who said I should mix the seeds in rose water, then add seeped hibiscus water and that will mask the fenugreek curry smell completely. I have the rose water but have to find hibiscus. Any advice you have on any of my concerns are appreciated.
@@gclady1536 The smell can definitely be too strong for some. In an oil you should not be able to smell the fenugreek at all, with all the other herbs and essential oils helping to mask the smell. Another thing that I’ve been doing recently since getting box braids is to brew all of the herbs (moringa, bhrami, amla, and hibiscus… though you can use whatever you have available)) in some hot water, let it sit for about 30 minutes, and add that to my fenugreek tea… also adding essential oils. That also has helped mask the fenugreek smell quite well. You can absolutely use these herbs as a mask or pre-poo! I personally like to blend my fenugreek seeds into a paste (I have a video on that if you’re curious) and add that and the other herbs and some olive oil into some mashed avocado. And again all of the other ingredients mask the fenugreek smell completely. Hey Nadine, if you are concerned about color change you may be interested in Cassia (also known as neutral henna), it has all the same benefits of henna without the color change!
After your treatment you can follow up with an olive oil or avocado oil treatment. you may even want to do it twice that week. Once immediately after your treatment, and the next a few days later if needed.
New subscriber! I see you also added coconut milk to the mixture but it’s not listed in the ingredient list posted in the description. How much coconut milk do you suggest? Also, how often do you do this and would you skip the fenugreek treatment the day/week this is done?
Misabelle for me, I always use 1 can of coconut milk. I suggest starting out doing this treatment once a month and then see if you want to do it more or less often. I normally use fenugreek as a detangler and I will use it as I normally do the week of the henna treatment. Hope this helps!
Yes they will! I have a few grey hairs and over many applications they have turned bright red. Personally I’m a huge fan of this but if you’re concerned you may be interested in using Indigo after a henna application to make those hairs black, or cassia so your hair color does not change. Hope this helps! ♥️
I do have grey hair and I used a lot of coffee, black tea and boil for two hours and add with Henna and also add one teaspoon olive and oil coconut oil one lemon and one egg My hair color dark brown and very shiny
Thank you for the video where can i purchase the good high quality henna it would be great if you can share the link with us. Thank you very much for this video. 👌👌
is no one gonna point out that there's no need to wait overnight if you add hot steaming water😬. either use it within an hour or add room temp water and wait overnight
i think they can always be a great addition, i like adding amla, hibiscus, aloe vera, fenugreek... i don't have experience with shikakai yet but I think other herbs can really make you henna experience wonderful!
I’m interested in any future videos on natural hair care. I love to use henna and indigo for my grays I use it straight on my roots then I’ll mix up the rest with other ingredients for my lengths. So I don’t overdo the dye deposits and dry out my hair.
Natalie Duval Either a conditioner, coconut cream and oils. Conditioner with oils works best for me. I use very little oil compared to conditioner. It’s basically a henna gloss. Their are recipes abound on youtube. My favorite recipe for henna/indigo has a little( tablespoon) *Aloe*powder (for slip, moisture and a little(tablespoon ) *Amla* (hair growth/ stops from relaxing curls). I add the indigo last after your particular hennas dye release. Usually 3 hrs later. This is for dying hair. Then I’ll mix the remainder with conditioner and such for the lengths. I think I’m repeating myself now_✌🏽
Hi Tracy, I'm thinking about trying henna to cover my grays as well so am interested in your process. Can you please share some details about what products you use and the process/steps for coverage? Thanks!
I dont know a lot about it. But maybe a quick browse will help. A lot of people use it with Henna to for a boost and leaves your hair black I think 🤷♀️
Yeahh henna is actually a natural hair dye. I didn't mind because it really helped highlight the natural brown streaks in my hair but your hair should return to its normal color soon if you stopped using it. You can try fenugreek or amla, they are herbal hair treatments like henna that really help soften and encourage hair growth and you can find them on Amazon!
If you check out my latest video, you’ll see what henna looks on my hair like in certain lights in the first few seconds. It can be very red (my hair color is naturally very dark brown). You can pair henna with indigo to create a brown or black color so you don’t have the red hues. I have a video about how to use henna and indigo. You can also check out Henna Sooqs website for more detailed information on that as well. Good luck ♥️
Hey Ann Myst for so many years I was having problems for hair loss. I like this henna hair mask that you make it😍So my question is is it enough to do with in the beginning two times a week or once in a month? Love Muna❤️
Hey Muna! Starting out with a treatment once a month is a great starting place- and then later adjust the frequency to what works best for you! (for me the sweet spot is every 3 weeks, but it varies for everyone!) Love Ann ♥️
So after your rinse out the henna, does your hair color change? Will the apple cider vinegar make the henna to release the dye completely? I actually want to use henna on my hair but I don’t want my hair color change
Yes henna will definitely change the color of your hair with or without ACV! If you’re worried about color change you may want to look into Cassia (also known as neutral henna). This has the same strengthening effects of henna but it will not change the color of your hair!
I used to do henna on my hair few years back..and the result was amazing..as I have fine hair texture, using henne once a week, made my hair so much better..but one day I went for a hair spa and my hair stylist told me not to put henne as it damages the hair in long run more than it does good(his words not mine)..so after that I stopped using henna..but whenever I see videos about how people are loving using henna on their hair..I feel so tempted to start doing henne on my hair again. So If anyone could please help me out what should I do...and clear my confusion, to use henna or not..and is there any harm in long run..it will be really helpful..Thanks in advance..
He lied to you. Whoever is doing a business of treating hair (especially with chemicals) will never admit that natural options are juat as good or better even.
I can't use henna bcus i am graying and it looks hideous. Using indigo is just to much work. I have recently gotten cassia which can be used bi-weekly.
Is not possible my mum use whole life just she get Gary hair when she was 28 look hanna just mix with water give you colour if you mix permanent colour with water never give you means hanna so strong chemicals
Yes it can. a lot of times if you wash your tub immediately after rinsing out the henna it’ll be okay. You can also rub a layer of oil in it before rinsing to help prevent the henna from sticking. Things like baking soda, vinegar, oxi clean, and bleach can all help get rid of the stain. Just make sure that whatever you use, you let it sit inside the tub for awhile before rinsing it off. I hope that helps :)
Your hair looks amazing, sometimes i do henna treatments but don’t know how long you have to wait to apply it again, like is it something one can do weekly?
Thank you!! And it varies for a lot of people... For me, my sweet spot is every 3 weeks, though I do know some people wait 2-6 months between treatments. I think a good starting place is to do a treatment once a month and go from there. However, I don't think it's necessary to do a full treatment more than twice a month since the henna is still so new and probably hasn't faded/broken down at all.
@GLOSH DIY,did it change Your hair color my dear?I really wanted to use it but don't want to change my hair color as it is too dark(black). Please reply

Yes, one of the things I'm definitely afraid of is my curl pattern loosen up. After I apply henna my hair is super curly due to the protein treatment, but after two or 3 washes it just stops curling all together! I don't know why this happen, to the point where I stopped using henna because I don't want to lose my curls
Hey Rae! Yeah, the loosening is the curl pattern can definitely be annoying... there are quite a few things that have helped me restore my curls... I found that aloe Vera (especially bottled Aloe Vera juice) makes my curls pop almost immediacy. And other acidic ingredients (including hibiscus, amla, and apple cider vinegar) have also helped me restore my curl pattern. You can use any of these ingredients as a hair rinse (right after washing your hair), or look for them in the ingredient list of your hair products. Soon enough you should see your curl pattern come back. You may also be interested in my video titled “refreshing curl spray” which has also helped me restore my curls. If you ever try henna again hopefully this can help you out!

Personally I’m a huge fan of this but if you’re concerned you may be interested in using Indigo after a henna application to make those hairs black, or cassia so your hair color does not change. Hope this helps! ♥️
I do have grey hair and I used a lot of coffee, black tea and boil for two hours and add with Henna and also add one teaspoon olive and oil coconut oil one lemon and one egg
My hair color dark brown and very shiny
You are so pretty and feminine! You have beautiful hair and skin! Can you do a video on skin care please?
Do you make henna glosses and if so I would love to see a video on it:)
This was a henna gloss. A henna mask is simply henna and water.
I have fenugreek powder but does it need to be in a paste before adding it to the coconut cream? Thank you!
Thank you for the video where can i purchase the good high quality henna it would be great if you can share the link with us. Thank you very much for this video. 👌👌
INDIAN shop
is no one gonna point out that there's no need to wait overnight if you add hot steaming water😬. either use it within an hour or add room temp water and wait overnight
Do you recommend adding other Aryuvedic herbs such as Amla or Shikakai or do you think that’s over the top?
i think they can always be a great addition, i like adding amla, hibiscus, aloe vera, fenugreek... i don't have experience with shikakai yet but I think other herbs can really make you henna experience wonderful!
Love your video. I’m new to your channel and I use the same products ❤️❤️👏🏽👏🏽
Thankyou 💖
Your hair is so beautiful 😍
New subbie!! Love it!!
I’m interested in any future videos on natural hair care. I love to use henna and indigo for my grays I use it straight on my roots then I’ll mix up the rest with other ingredients for my lengths. So I don’t overdo the dye deposits and dry out my hair.
What other ingredients do you mix the henna with for the rest of your hair?
Thanks!
Henna made my hair a weird unflattering brownish color and I love my hair dark so I stopped using it
Add some indigo. It keeps your hair dark🙏
@@tic-ingtimebomb6657 what is indigo?
I dont know a lot about it. But maybe a quick browse will help. A lot of people use it with Henna to for a boost and leaves your hair black I think 🤷♀️
Yeahh henna is actually a natural hair dye. I didn't mind because it really helped highlight the natural brown streaks in my hair but your hair should return to its normal color soon if you stopped using it. You can try fenugreek or amla, they are herbal hair treatments like henna that really help soften and encourage hair growth and you can find them on Amazon!
U can add olive oil to henna . Add olive and wallnut leaves to boiled watter nd poor it on henna .it works.it makes ur hair dark .thats what i do
Good job sis. Please my hair is very black in colour and i want to use henna , please is it going to change the colour of my hair?
If you check out my latest video, you’ll see what henna looks on my hair like in certain lights in the first few seconds. It can be very red (my hair color is naturally very dark brown). You can pair henna with indigo to create a brown or black color so you don’t have the red hues. I have a video about how to use henna and indigo. You can also check out Henna Sooqs website for more detailed information on that as well.
Good luck ♥️
After Henna my head gets so dry and I scratching like crazy what do you can recommend me?
Thanks 🙏
Never heard of fenugreek. Where do I find it? Can I use anything else besides fenugreek to mix with the henna
indian or pakistan shops
How do you keep your raid from turning copper?
Hi so it changes your hair color?
U are so butefull💜
I love your videos you are so informative and gorgeous as well
Hey Ann Myst for so many years I was having problems for hair loss. I like this henna hair mask that you make it😍So my question is is it enough to do with in the beginning two times a week or once in a month? Love Muna❤️
Hey Muna! Starting out with a treatment once a month is a great starting place- and then later adjust the frequency to what works best for you! (for me the sweet spot is every 3 weeks, but it varies for everyone!)
Love Ann ♥️
Ann Myst Ok thanks🙏🏾
So after your rinse out the henna, does your hair color change? Will the apple cider vinegar make the henna to release the dye completely? I actually want to use henna on my hair but I don’t want my hair color change
Yes henna will definitely change the color of your hair with or without ACV! If you’re worried about color change you may want to look into Cassia (also known as neutral henna). This has the same strengthening effects of henna but it will not change the color of your hair!
Jamila Henna weekly 🎉🎉🎉🎉
@Axbaaa Thank you.. ❤️
He lied to you. Whoever is doing a business of treating hair (especially with chemicals) will never admit that natural options are juat as good or better even.
I was for always finding a subsidiary for egg ,I have really long hair and it's hard to manage if it's not soft... thanks u
I can't use henna bcus i am graying and it looks hideous. Using indigo is just to much work. I have recently gotten cassia which can be used bi-weekly.
You have beautiful hair❤❤❤❤❤
You can also add some castor oil to prevent drying
That's interesting! Never heard if that before. How much would you add? Any links to share on this?
@@christine1962ful u can add according to your hair length and volume .. i add a spoonful of it
That blocks full color uptake too.
Is not possible my mum use whole life just she get Gary hair when she was 28 look hanna just mix with water give you colour if you mix permanent colour with water never give you means hanna so strong chemicals
Does it stain the tub?
Yes it can. a lot of times if you wash your tub immediately after rinsing out the henna it’ll be okay.
I use henna with curd
Amazing
But how isn't your hair slightly red
Henna made mine a bit red
Henna does make my hair red. My hair is naturally very dark so It’s only visible in certain lights.
Can it be for relax hair too??
Yes you can use it on relaxed hair. My hair is relaxed and I use it.
U are so dutifull God bless you
Can I use coconut milk? I just purchased the H&C henna you mentioned and came here to make my mixture
Yes you can!!
Can you plss explain the reason why we should apply henna on dry hair
I mean it will be more easy to wet the hair first and then apply??
Plss tell me
Curly Proverbz and HennaSooq here on RUclips recommends using on damp hair. I have heard others say damp hair and not dry hair too🙂
can i use funrgreek oil instead of funegreek paste?
Yes,I always used coffee, black tea one teaspoon olive and oil coconut oil one lemon and one egg
My hair color dark brown and very shiny
I have a very hard time washing the Hanna off of my hair. I always feel pieces of Hanna stick to my hair after washing my hair with shampoo. It's very frustrating. I don't know the solutions. I love to use Hanna but this throws me off.
@The Lord is Good All The Time, thank you so much for your help. I will try the conditioners. Any suggestions of the conditioners though??? I love to use swave conditioner......
@The Lord is Good All The Timethank you so much. I will try this. Struggling to rinse the Hanna of my hair is what keeps me off using it. I will try your suggestion.
Make sure your mixing it good
Yes, one of the things I'm definitely afraid of is my curl pattern loosen up.
@@VyalaBloom thank you! I actually have that vid on my see later list, I really need to check it out! You just made me want to start using henna again. I might get some and try once more, followed up with your tips. Thank you ☺️
You have to mix amla with the henna if you don't want to lose your curl.
Wow, gorgeous!! 👑
