@@rogerturner5504 Ya! I figured that out after I thought about it for a while, it js0sut seemed so realistic at first and fooled me. Model aircraft buiding has gone way beyond what we did as kids. My dad and uncle built big WW11 birds and filmed them on an 8MM movie camera while they eventually destroyed them. They were both Army Air-corps. Dad was and instructor.
Hey Rich, it's Nathan from SMRCF. Nice videos! It's very cool watching the progress. Not trying to criticize but I'm hoping to see the landing approaches coming in a lot lower.. It seems you'll almost have to come in right over those tree tops and keep a shallow angle at about 1/3 throttle then cut it just before the strip.
I'm working on it. Full flaps causes the nose to drop. My 1st flight at SMRC I used half flaps and landed. Very slippery bird. I tried using full flaps, waiting for the bird to slow. This may work if I extend my approach. I may try that. Actually, I need a longer runway, like an airport LOL.
What the Hell! Who would attempt to land a jet on that excuse for a landing strip. Loco. Thanks for posting.
It's a radio-controlled model!
