I remember getting a bit intoxcated the other night, started up Shogun 2 since it´s one of my favourite games of all time and thought "let´s do a legendary difficulty campaign, I´ve seen legend do it so many times, how hard can it be? I´ll just combine cheese and great micromanagement and win" My urethra and rectal canals are still in terrible pain and I´ now have to see a therapist for the merciless raping this game did on me. I mean I was drunk but just thinking that legend can do a campaign on this diificulty when he´s just looking to have a chill campaign... Also I love you motherfucker for playing this game. Whenever I tire of the other TW games, whether it´s M2, Warhammer or any of the other ones, I almost always pull out this game again, because I still find it so satisfying to play. Simple, yet gracious and unforgiving, as it should be.
Damn. Shoulda considered getting that Military Port up and running and getting a small navy to combat that ever growing pirate problem XD I know this is years old, but I'm enjoying going back and watching some of your other material that wasn't warhammer. Don't get me wrong, I love TWW but these older games and others are so cool, and live up still to expectations even though they're 10+ years old!
He keeps saying food adds wealth? Food actually adds growth (taxable income). Since the town growth rates are always negative (due to over taxation), his wealth is constantly decreasing. Global food surplus is applied to the growth of all towns, so he is minimizing the effect of over taxation.
Mybe it is just me or my small screen but I find the building cards a bit too small for me to read. Perhaps changing the resolution in future let's plays?
It's not the resolution, it's just the fact that his ui scale is set to small instead of medium or large. I'd recommend upping it because I'm pretty sure he's the only person using it on small lol
"Why I get pissed at criticism sometimes is because sometimes I feel like people call me shit just because I'm playing differently to them, not because I'm playing worse" Pretty sure that people take a jab at you every time they can is because you act like a dick in general. Not saying that it's wrong for you to do that or that I agree with those people, I'm pretty indifferent to the whole thing, it's just that whenever someone displays arrogance, or perceived arrogance, people will and do try to bring them down. That's just a fact of life.
If there's an army inside the settlement when you request it's allegiance does it disappear if you are successful (if the enemy has more than one region)?
Is there any chance Legend you could be persuaded to play another Warhammer campaign? Like that clan Angrund campaign? I tried to watch other people, but it's just straight up painful in comparison. (Long time follower, I know well enough how you feel about the game. Just throwing it out there for some extra consideration)
Jack White Then you should know that he doesn't take campaign suggestions. He just plays what he wants when he wants. Unless you give him a lot of money on patreon I doubt he'll listen to any of your suggestions.
Very much so if you like Shogun 2. This is set in the medieval period of Japan during the Genpei War. Which is about 400 years before Shogon 2 so the rosters are different from that time period
Mark Sargeant "Medieval Period" Japan was in a Medieval Period until the Meiji Reformation it's the pre-samurai period, before the mass-mercenary 'honor' armies became commonplace throughout Japan. Essentially; it's Japan before it got weeby. I'd recommend it if you enjoy the slow combat of M2, it's much less action-oriented then the other campaigns.

This was a good read, made me laugh and cringe all the same.
"God damn fucking pirates"
A phrase that transcends all languages and eras.
legend square formation is for squares
on a serious note thanks for playing this campaign because I want a RUclipsr I like doing this expansion
Do a traditional only campaign in Fall of the Samurai! I bet you could do it pretty easily. Or better yet, do a Warpath campaign in Empire: TW!
Also, since noone did this joke already: I think you should built a nuke reactor in your home region. What could possibly go wrong?

it's nice to see a total war game where diplomacy isn't totally fucking worthless, at least not in the early game.
although japan history or this era never really interested me, shogun 2 is the best total war game ever created

If the town is as -2, and something goes away like the alliegence so it will be -1 next turn, and you train 1 unit this turn, it won't revolt.

Only some of them join you
Why do you keep your generals all back in the north?
I wish Legend will play a Darthmod campaign...
Any one want to do a rome1 multiplayer campaign? There's a mod that allows it, havent had any takers yet
Mohamed Sawan
I'm out of town until July 15th or so, but I'll take you up on that offer once I'm back

Is this one worth playing?
it takes some getting used to but it's a good bit of fun, do wait for a sale though

Except in Shogun 2 you cannot just go around shopping for settlements.
I understand the focus on economy at the start but I kinda hope we're not back to spamming cheap boring shit units throughout the entire campaign.
I am copying you let's play and my daimyo died at turn 18 of natural causes. When or did your daimyo die yet? I don't remember.
