I have to agree about the banjo picker. One of the best. Makes it look so easy.
There’s nothing like the sound of a banjo to get your feet a tapping, however add such a powerful ballad with the truth set to notes fills your heart with song and makes you realize how great OUR GOD IS. May He continue to make the blind see know the truth and save this county from the evil that’s knocking at the doors of our White House. 🇺🇸TRUMP/VANCE 2024 the only way to return this nation again to ONE NATION UNDER GOD. @rockofagesusa7942 You are right about that. Banjos and fiddles can both be very much in your face playing over top of everyone else. That's not the case with Sarah. She knows when to attack and when to lay back.

A nice group of youngster musicians
Really love her playing Anyone can take a break but her backup is fantastic.
Isn't it though?? Sarah's back-up work is one of the first things that caught my attention, when I first discovered "B.B.B's" videos, early last year!
She plays a lot of J.D. Crowe-style back-up, which I've been trying to learn for years!
Unfortunately, I was never able to get a clear camera view on any of J.D's televised shows, nor the shows of any banjo players who play some of J.D.'s stuff!
Now thanks to these great videos of "Backwoods" with a VERY CLEAR view of Sarah's playing; I finally see how it's done!
Now, I just have to replace my stolen '62 Vega 5-String, so that I can sit down and play this great stuff I've been watching!! 😊

Nice kickoff and lead by Hunter this time and a very impressive banjo lead by Sarah. Austin's lead vocal and the solid harmonies sound great. Rusty's rock solid bass ties it all together. Very nice job by all!

A favourite song of mine. Love Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway's version. Love this banjo player, love this mando pickin singer, love this band, love this,(more traditional style) version. Peace and love.
Just as fine as the earlier version, perhaps even more so with the close-up video and the better sound. The banjo break as before, is truly mesmerizing! But really, everyone contributes just fine to this remarkable performance. Backwoods Bluegrass is doing it good!

I don't think it's a coincidence that Sarah is both the most noteworthy player in this arrangement as well as the sound engineer for this song. She is oozing talent. As a fellow (novice) banjo player I can appreciate just how damn good the studio recording is of this song - the dynamics, riffs, precision, just incredible. I would love to get a tab or lesson if possible. Thank you for sharing this with us. It is my favorite song as of late. Cheers from Eastern NC.

Obviously, I, as an American, heard this song first at the end of my favorite show. My son plays fiddle. So this rendition was so sweet to me. My son thought it was depressing, but he is young and didnt understand the long tem meaning. I love this dong.
