    Still got it? I’ve always been a arai person but I’m thinking about trying something different.

      Yupp still got it! And I do love it but don't use it as often as I probably should.. It's not the best for the street, short rides are fine but anything over an hour and it gets kinda sketchy

    Airoh fits small, cheek pads will break in and FYI not DOT approved but good looking helmet!

      @LifeWellRidden  2 года назад

      Yeah I removed some of their sponge insert thingys and makes it fit so much better BUT in the right world, I would probably go with a large

      The ECE 22.06 is better than Snell and the DOT rating. They test the helmets 50 at a time of the same one in real world situations. DOT is a joke and you can by a DOT sticker if you need to. When have you heard of a ticket for a helmet? I never have. There awesome helmets plain and simple. DOT is a stupid standard look it up. Bye yall

      @@elvispusley3515 i know that but if you get stopped by the cops in the US which he is located you will get fined. They dont care with rating is better they care about being DOT or not. Everyone knows DOT sucks.

    Hey I got it in Medium size but I think its kinda tight like yours lmao. Do you think I should get it in size Large? Or has it broken in for you already?

  • @joeyd647
    @joeyd647 2 года назад

    Do you happen to recall your head size in cm'? They're medium says 57-58 and I'm 58. Thinking going to large but am Medium normally.

    • @LifeWellRidden
      @LifeWellRidden  2 года назад +1

      I am a 58cm measured, I normally wear a Medium (57-58cm) and after a little bit of breaking in, fit great.
      For this Airoh, I wish I went with a size Large. It could be the hair but this helmet is tight and shaped differently. I had to remove a little foam triangle from the front of the helmet and sand down the foam on the top of my forehead a considerable amount to get it comfortable. I usually wear the helmet on 1-2 rides per week (18-20 rides since video) and it is finally getting to the “comfortable” point.
      In my opinion, get a Large, I will be getting a large in the future and can always add the provided foam pieces to snug it up

      @@LifeWellRidden I agree, I've heard they run a little small. You're review was great, looks like an amazing helmet. I'm running the Alpinestars M10 carbon and it's been a great helmet as well. Thanks for the info.
      BTW, where do they sell those foam pieces to firm it up?

      @@joeyd647 thank you sir! I try to be as comprehensive as my brain allows without me forgetting anything.. haha
      The kit comes with these little foam inserts, if you look when I go through the accessories box, you can find them above the GoPro/lanyard. They are like spaghetti foam for any pressure points in the helmet that you tuck under the padding

    What size did you get? Does it fit smaller? Then us size helmets?

    • @LifeWellRidden
      @LifeWellRidden  2 года назад

      I got a size M - it seems to fit a little smaller and kind of wish I went with a L but I also have a shit ton of hair haha.
      If I were you, I would go 1 size up because you can always add their foam to create a tight fit.
      It’s easier to add than take away haha

    I’ve got an Airoh, not sure which model. Aviator 2,2 maybe. The plastic popper that holds the strap back came out after a few months. Wasn’t impressed with that. Like the helmet but sizing is tricky. I’m 58cm but large is too big and medium slightly too small 😂. I think like you say it’s head shape. Thinking of getting a model 3.

      Dang I would have thought the build quality would have been better! But the sizing I just don't understand hahah like I still wear it but thinking about shaving down foam.. (Which is a no no..)
