Short video I put together to show the beauty of this game. I have the DX10 box checked so everything you see is running under that. Anyways, this is my first fsx video and i plan to do more in the future - perhaps with more of a plot or somthing.
The scenery at the beach you see is MAGA Scenery Southern Calafornia. A Very Beautiful add-on.

Oh man I remember watching this around 10-12 years ago. Crazy to see this pop up again on my feed. So crazy how the flight sim community and flight sim itself has come over the last years! Thank you for reminding me of the good old times for a bit!

20 years ago I was crazy with Sublogic's "Jet" in "glorious" 16-color EGA graphics. Now, that's the best looking F-18 I've seen in a computer yet...I'm very tempted to buy a brand new system. (Drool, drool, drool...) Thanks for posting. Nice editing, by the way - clips go with the pace of the music.

One thing you will never get in Flight sim x is the experience of flying in a combat environment like lock on multiplayer its truly amazing no amount of graphics can replace that

One question i have xps 720 i have no complaints but i am interested of changing the graphics card i know it might be a stupid question but how do i change it? mo=ine is 8800 gtx it does lag a bit especially if i am on airport addons like aerosoft heathrow or uk2000 gatwick etc.Thanks

How are these videos recorded in FSX? I know how to make one using the "alt" menu in flight but it's akward, the video quality is very poor and you can't watch it anywhere but in the sim. I have tried using the "video record start/stop" but it doesn't seem to work. How is this done?
how do you get this freecam stuff i wonder if theres a recording editor with cam posiotions and stuff in fsx cuz im trying to make a vid but the inside and oustide view is boring

Hey guys, I have a problem. I hava an ATI radeon 9250 256mb, and no matter how low I put the settings on fsx, it doesn't perform well at all. What should I do? I want to play this game with all the settings on ultra high opposed to minimal.
HI, I wanna say that i know some of these planes, like the beriev, the DeHavilland Beaver, the Harrier, the f-14... But where do you get the third plane from, that weird thing with the tailrudder facing down?
Trust me, I think everything I've ever created I wished I'd spent more time on. Clients had to wrestle it away from me or I'd work on them forever. Creativity is never finished, the pursuit of perfection is unachievable, it the pursuit that makes us do our best work. I'll look forward to more work from you.

FSX Is very fun!
The pack looks incredible and I would love to buy it if only other people hadn't put me off it and the problems that have plauged me with my legitamate copy of FSX. But I'm v. close to buying it and this video demonstrates it brilliantly! :D
Don't forget that Acceleration also adds the Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 updates as standard, so makes the whole FSX run smoother and look better.
i have fsx deluxe installed right now.. if i buy acceration will it just add to deluxe or create a whole new game with a clean slate?
hey what's the place at the beggining of video where those mountains are... From which airport should I start to fly?
Can anyone help? On flight Sim X, I can turn most Gfx settings up to full or nearly full and, even though the frame rate is good, I don't think it looks as good as it should do. Why is this? Surely if my pc can't handle it the frame rate would slow down. It's a:-
Asus Striker2 board, Intel Core2 Quad overclocked to 2.8Ghz, 1024MB gforce 7950gx2 gfx card, 4gb ram, 150gb 10000rpm WD raptor hard dd, currently running XP32 (how much would I benefit from XP64?).

With Dx10 is the fps and graphics better than Dx9.0c.? I have Windows Xp and i dont know if to change to Windows Vista.

i installed flight simulator x first and then after i played fsx a while i installed fsx acceleration...but wat if i remove fsx then install fsx acceleration, then install fsx again?

so how do u land a plane?? turn the engines off and just let it glide or keep ur engies half way on and than let it glide. i tried it but the plane wont go down no matter what.

Deluxe is basically the Standard version with a couple more planes, G100, and more high detail airports. Acceleration is an expansion pack that includes 3 new aircraft (P-51, EH-101, F/A-18A), carriers and some new features such as engine overheating. You need the Standard or Deluxe editions of FSX to use Acceleration.

i dont understand why when i check the DX10 preview my FPS drops to around 2! I have vista and DX10 capable graphics card, so i should be able to benefit from the DX10 preview? can somebody explain to me please
my computer sucks on acceleration it doesnt even run the minimums and its an xps! i guess fsx alone will have to do, but it would have been cool to land on the carriers, maybe i'll install it when i get a new computer. does the track i.r. really make a difference? i mean to say is it worth it?

Can this game run smoothly on E7300 Duo 2.6 GHz proc, 9800Gt 1Gb videocard, 1 gb ram? My friend played it with a slower pc and he said it laged. thanks
