We lost power for 4 days after this event. I was 8 and remember it very well. We had gusts up to a hundred with at least 75 sustained. We were roughly 20 miles south of Seattle, still the worst storm I ever lived through

This would’ve been my first tornado had it dropped. Moved to Texas two years ago and still have yet to see one. Moving to Dallas in a few weeks tho so my chances will hopefully increase

Oh man I remember watching this around 10-12 years ago. Crazy to see this pop up again on my feed. So crazy how the flight sim community and flight sim itself has come over the last years! Thank you for reminding me of the good old times for a bit!

I remember this vividly. I was in sixth grade, and in safety patrol. I was on rotation that week, and the day before, I'd had my hi-vis vest blow open on my way back to hang it up after I was done. I got home the day of, and we lost power for about a minute that evening, before losing power shortly after midnight, and being without power for two an a half days. I was also in choir, and the day the storm came through, we were supposed to sing at Redmond Town Center. We got notified around lunch that it had been canceled. (My mother had the same idea, from in the morning, after getting my siblings and I off to the bus, when the rain really started coming down.)

Hi. I really love this idea - I want to learn more about color mixing using polymer clay. I have your book, but this video really makes it clear how to do this. I’m going to try it. I have a question: on the color scales, why don’t you make it symmetrical on both sides. You mix more on one side going down to 1/128 but on the other side you do less - just to 1/32. Is there a reason for this?? I can certainly understand doing less mixing for the darker color as it would really would not change that much. But if both colors were lighter in value, wouldn’t it be more useful to make the mixing more symmetrical on both sides??

Not bad for a basic tutorial. I always practice 7x7 landings full IFR/VFR manual landing. If you ever find yourself in a position where the flight crew is incapacitated in real life it is likely because of catastrophic failure in the cockpit. You won't always have all the fancy electronics working. Also the tower has procedures for walking a passenger/flight attendant through a landing sequence so if you can reach them always follow their instructions in an emergency to the letter.

That brought me back... Damn.. FSX has certainly changed over the years.
