- It was the first RWYB of the year at Santa Pod Raceways and the hype had been building for a battle of the quickest B58's in the World. Marcus Daley @md1_marky in his 950bhp Serkes Motorworks built RWD BMW M140i up against Tom Wrigley in his 980bhp Tom Wrigley Performance built X-Drive BMW M140i.
Here is the video of how the day went. No Hype, No Bullsh1t, just straight talking and drag racing.

Would love to know exactly what parts are needed for the fwd conversion. For most they would take it to tom anyway but at least it would allow us to collect all the parts ready....
4wd m140i is the way forward. Especially as theres a good chance you can x delete to get the best of both worlds.

Is the 140i only available as xdrive? Is there also a rear wheel drive version?

World recod for b58 is not a 8.9 is more 8.4 and if you count supra’s its sub 8
OK. I was only going of info provided on the day. Are these details available online? And are you saying 8.4 in a BMW140i, or a 240i or 340i and sub 8 in a Supra ?? I will check as well.
Gen 1 record is currently 8.9. Gen 2 is 7.9. Supras 7.7
@V3LOCITY__ yeah. I can't at present find a quicker 140i. What car was the gen1 record done in? I have found a Supra running a 7.98 at 174mph, and another running an 8.78 at 153mph. Also a 340i running an 8.41 at 167mph.
Yeah but I wonder if they are still road cars like these two. Bet they arent....
@@VeeDubRacing no there the fastest m140i’s but i was talking b58 and if you look on the 1stockf30 channel you wil see the black f30 340i run a 8.9 and you wel see the stock block record aswel gen 2

The world record for b58 in a BMW is 7.9 sec held by theshopct currently. Someone please tell me how 1stock is running mid 8s with a stock motor 😂😂 both m240 xdrive cars. Nice video btw thanks
Thanks 🙏These cars are getting quicker and quicker. Also found a B58 Supra that has now run a 7.75 at 180mph.
He won’t be that’s why 😂 Americans are scam artists with there daft sub records, pistons rods built etc but claim is stock motor one thing about Tom is he doesn’t lie and answering honestly whilst smashing records
